C'mon IT, win it for us! You haven't needed anyone else so far.
If Reke had IT's stat line and defense on Parker, I'm sure you'd be calling Reke selfish and a ballhog right?

Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees. We just gave up 113 (and counting) to the Spurs.
Do you really think this is Thomas trying to pad his stats for his ROY campaign?

What's with the IT hate. Man, what does he have to do to get a little respect?
If Reke did that while ignoring someone of his own potential playing next to him, and MT, yeah I'd say he needs to get everyone else involved. But Reke isn't/hasn't played point with a Tyreke Evans talent next to him on one wing, and an MT on the other. IT is/has, and refuses to get them going, and when we could of used them in the end.....ice cold, no rhythm.

It is if you want this team to win long term, not if you like a lot of points. He shoots the ball too well. His sole goal in life is to pass to Cousins/Reke/Thornton
Spurs pulled away when the IT show started.I call bull****. You'd be praising Reke to the high heavens for playing such an efficient game and how his 10 assists shows how much he gets people involved.
Fact is that IT outplayed the MVp candidate Parker by a large margin tonight. He's the furthest reason we lost this game
Reke is struggling to grow his game beyond his rookie season and people are taking it out on other players who are taking Reke's looks and minutes.
Win.
We beat this team with Evans at the point.

I think he's more offensive minded because of the campaign, and his been that way since the campaign.
Actually, him taking Reke/MT OUT of the game, not getting them in any rhythm at all, getting Reke 5 shots(one he had to chuck as he got it with 2 secs on the shotclock, only shot for Reke in the 2nd half btw) is a huge reason for the loss. He didn't have the help of MT/Reke at the end because he dominated the ball to the point they had no chance of getting involved.
IT is not anywhere good enough to do that.
Couldn't disagree more. Reke is not a point guard. There, I said it!

He was tonight.
Major difference: the last time a guard did that his best teammate was frickin' Beno Udrih. He was the best player on the squad., and best players on squads typically dominate the ball and the shots. He was freezing out such luminaries as Spencer Hawes and Omri Casspi. I don't think a single member of that team other than Reke is scoring in double figures this year in the NBA.Wait are you saying the Kings might allow a guard to put his numbers before his development as a winning basketball player and team basketball to benefit a ROY campaign? That would be unprecedented here.
I don't think anyone including Thomas really believes in the 'campaign'. Teams run phony campaigns for all individual trophies. It's dumb, but its not for us. Its for the casual fans to get tricked into believing someone is better or more important than they are. Mark Cuban has been tweeting and writing all about how Shawn Marion should be the DPOY.
I don't think it has anything to do with anything. But I do value your opinions .. I just disagree.
One more thing on Evans.... I don't think another player can get him going. Unless he's cutting hard to the hoop and scoring off of back doors, there isn't much the other guys on the team can do to create offense for him. He so one dimensional (but great at that dimension) that he really just needs to be aggressive, which he wasn't tonight. He didn't have the ball nearly as much as I would want him to if I was the coach, but I don't blame Thomas for his poor night.
DMC took 24 shots to score 25 points and had 5 turnovers and 2 assists. He does rebound like a mad man though. I think this is one of those games that he hurt the team more than helped them.
