VF, for some reason, Petrie decided on Peja. For obvious reason, Petrie knows more than both of us combined. For some reason hes being pampered back into playing. Petrie already drew up Pejas ultimatum: "Come back when your ready and sure you are able to play up to your ability. That will determine what happens to you and your contract in the offseason". So again, Im not rushing this, he can come back when ready. I actually enjoy watching the Kings now without Webber or Peja, but yes, I know eventually we will need Peja in the line up. But I think we all live for the present, not the past or future. So bring on Corliss, Thomas, and Skinner today
For the GOOD of the team, Peja MUST make a gesture soon that will heal the rift remaining. AND there is one. He cannot continue, for whatever reason, to keep himself out of the loop and apart from his teammates IF he expects to be a productive contributing member of this team.
I have watched him sitting there, chin in hands, as though he had no interest or stake in what was happening on the court. This has been the rule and not the exception as I have seen it repeatedly.
Peja needs to do something/anything to show he's going to step up and do the job he was kept here to do. And he needs to do it now.
