Season Opener Countdown Thread: D-Day

Is it just me or is there really next to no news about the King's media day? One would think that on "media day" there would be, well, more media. Has it not started yet or something?
 
Just listened to Grant interview both Cousins and Rondo. Liked what I heard from both. Cuz was very upbeat and has great expectations for the coming season. Cuz called Rondo a genius. He said that when the talks basketball with Rondo, that it's as though Rondo is speaking Chinese. He said Rondo is watching film of all his teammates as well as opposing players in the league. I guess we'll see how that translates to results.

In my defense, never even considered signing up for Twitter. I do have a Facebook though, so I suppose I have lent a hand in all of this. I used to enjoy reading full length articles with actual information in them. I just can't seem to hop on the Twitter train where you can write a couple of sentences at most. I guess that makes me old school!

you should sign up for twitter. Am going to announce a project in a few weeks that will need all tweeter hands on deck. :)

This is what gets missed in the Rondo debates, which mostly circle around either current health or recent events. He IS a genius when it comes to basketball. DeMarcus has known this for a long time. He has talked about it in interviews before. He has mad respect for Rondo's skill set and IQ. I don't think it's an accident that Rondo is here. Throw in the friends with Rudy angle, the doubt of others in him, and we have here a chance for something very, very special.

Sign up for Twitter and be selective about who you follow. There's good info out there and links to excellent articles. The biggest mistake people make IMHO is following way too many people.

Also, :confused: at that awesome Peteresen/Lohaus/Gillery post platoon. I was thinking somebody was left out of the pic, but no, that's 12 guys. Tank got burnt to bring back Tisdale after Thorpe got dumped for Petersen and McCray, Kleine went with Pinckney to get back Ainge and Lohaus...Sampson would not come until we dumped Petersen to get him...so that may have really been our big man trio at the time. Yikes.
