Offense (Scoring & Passing)
Limited offensive player. Lacks fluidity and creativity. But able to play effectively as a roleplayer, spotting up and exploiting mismatches. Got off to a slow shooting start this season, but a decent three point shooter with his feet set. Favors spotting up in the short corners and waiting for the kickout pass. Supplements his spot shooting with a big strong body that he uses to post up smaller players. Nothing fancy, just establishes deep position and overpowers them to the rim. Pretty clever finisher in there for a largely groundbound player. Makes the solid pass, not the spectacular one.
Defense & Rebounding
In the league because of his defense. If not a true stopper, then at least a very solid "slower" who is often brought in to cool the opposing team's hot hand at SG or SF. Can guard some slower PGs and smaller PFs as well. Not a gambler, just stays down, doesn't go for fakes, challenges and impedes. Not a great athlete, but is well built for a SF, very strong for a SG, and unafraid of contact. A solid rebounder at either spot with his strength tempered by a lack of hops.
Intangibles
A classic fundamentally sound roleplayer. Plays defense, spots up and takes few bad shots, never complains about minutes or role. Was picked up early in the season as an unsigned free agent, and quickly made himself valuable to a team lacking in outstanding defenders. Limited player, but a solid veteran presence and has been part of some good runs this season helping up the defensive intensity.
