"Not sure," he said when asked what happens in the summer. "I'm not worried about it. Vacation."
He must have some thoughts on his plans, he was told.
"I don't know," Artest replied. "From what I read in the blogs, everyone hates me."
The Kings have two more months before the regular season ends. In the meantime, they have a starting small forward playing at a very high level, distractions or not, uncertainty or not.
i don't think salmons is on the same level as Artest when it comes to being a key factor on both sides of the court. Artest is amazing on defense and in clutch situations. just watch the bobcats game again. you'll see it. without artest that game would have been on the loss column

I didn't say he was on the same level, I just feel he fits in with this team better. He played so awesome when he was a starter. I also don't have anything against Artest, I know he is a great player.
hate is a strong word....
Dislike? Yes.
Ron. Wake up. If you would have acted like a normal person and not have a change of heart every other day, while spurting your comments out to your "favorite friend"....the media, most of this animosity towards you would have never happened.
How do you want the Kings fans to feel when one day you want to win a ring with Sacramento and then next day, you make it public that there is a strong chance that you may leave for New York. Where is the logic in that?
Artest needs to understand that he at times sticks his own head under the guillotine.
Let's compare him to Webber. When Webber was here, he didn't have the baggage of the fight. Chris DID have a history of being unable to get along with coaches. Ron has to understand how the fight effects people's perceptions. Take away the fight and the two are very similar. Chris changed his mind often, he criticized the city and its food, he had a lot of people very angry. Webber's feeling shifted with the wind also. Heck we were convinced he would leave. We tend to hear and remember the negatives and not the positives. Anytime a player says he wants to leave, it becomes fixed in our brains.
Some people are like that. It can be disturbing when all you hear from a person is filtered through a reporters "pen" so to speak. Be with him day in day out and if it's still upsetting, then we have a real problem. I don't know if his team mates see him as a problem. They know more than we know.
Does anyone know what his team mates think?
How long will Artest need to be on good behavior before we relax? People who have debated with me and shared PMs know that I have relaxed. I enjoy Ron and his over the top enthusiasm.
Hahahaha!Hello Ron. What is member name and would like to become a contributing member.
MassachusettsKingsFan said:Ron is a good player, but not the right player for this team to rebuild with.. i want him to go to a contender and win a championship.. same goes for bibby. Its nothing personal.. hes just not a good player to rebuild with.. he's going to want to win like every player should, but when we arent winning he can say and do some dumb things ( not this year, but in the future as we continue to get younger i can see this happening ) he can play a bunch of different positions, but thats not really a good thing for a rebuilding team.. right now he's taking away minutes from hawes and shelden when he plays the 4, and garcia/douby when he plays the 2/3 ... great player, but he cant be in our long term plans.
