Pryz is only getting 16 mins a game this year. His contract is about the same as SAR but 1 yr longer. At this point SAR could be more useful for them than Pryz. He can add vet leadership and could be a mentor for Aldridge. I think Portland have nothing to lose.

Sac desperately need inside defense and a shotblocker. Pryz can do that and rebound. His only downsize is offense. Maybe KT could improve his play now that SAR is gone and hes the main PF. Most important of all, we dont have to play Corliss at center anymore.

I cannot think of a reason why the Kings would do this. If I recall the only really good games Przybilla had were against us...

Really? He still brings something we sorely lack (defense and shotblocking) at the expense of something we have too much of (one-dimensional scoring).

I don't think that this trade would be that bad for us..I actually think that it would make us a little bit better. I surely don't think that it would make us any worse.

While I do agree that this trade would not make the Kings title contenders, it is actually a decent trade that could end up helping in the long run if other moves are made either this year or in the offseason.

SAR: 10.1 PPG, 5.2 RPG .51 BPG 26.1 MPG

Joelzilla: 2.0 PPG 4.0 RPG 1.59 BPG 16.4 MPG

I'm not saying this is the end-all-be-all of trades, and may or may not fit a blowup/youth movement. But if your goal is to get bigger and more defensive down low, I don't see why you'd be against this move. He's not going to be KG, or even Brendan Wright, but he's a start at some semblance of a decent frontcourt.

Well, if you can get a SAR for Duhon and Sweentey's expiring, sure. But SAR right now embodies our mediocrity. He's nether essential to our offense, helping us on the defensive end, nor a young big with potential to do one of those two things. It may be band aid, but it's better than letting the wound fester.
