This is how I thought we would go before todays game. Our home run isn't THAT hard and a lot of games at home should suit us for a 5th position.

Honestly, I think they will make it to the WCF against the Spurs. Ya, thats right all the way to the 3rd round.

Well, given the current bracket, they can't make it to the WCF finals against the Spurs, as they play them in the 2nd round. They would need the Spurs to fall to the 2 seed, or the Kings need to drop to the six or seventh. In that case, they would need to upset either the Sonics, who seem to have the Kings number this year, or the Suns, who the Kings would need to play exceptionally to beat. Either way, I would prefer to play the Sonics.

I think the Mavs can be very dangerous come playoffs. They have all the pieces now, and when healthy can pose a threat to anyone.

i love the optimism, but its gonna take one helluva turnaround for the kings to pull that off. the injuries will need to be a non-factor, and the team will need to become a team on the fly. thats not easy in the middle of the season, let alone in the playoffs. lots of adjustments need to be made just to assure that the kings survive the first round, let alone the third.

Last 21.....

Let's assume we get Miller back on Thursday along with at least Kenny Thomas. Then Mobley on the weekend. 20 left: 11 at home 9 away BUT 2 of the last 3 games away and home with Phoenix!!!

I say 17-3 or 18-2 and if we run 9 of the last 10 we get at least 4th seed and long shot for 3rd, if SEA tanks a bit. 3rd gives us HOU or MEM in playoffs. 4th likely the Mavs again

Key will be Skinner and Thomas among new guys and Pedja and Bibby to take control. Bibby definitely the leader. Too bad Pedja pushes too much late in the 4th but he does try.

If we want to get to the second round we have to finish 16-4 or better. With 18-2 conf finals are possibility but not too likely we can get past the Spurs. I'll be happy if we make it to 2nd round in 5 or 6 games.

we cannot get the 3rd seed unless we pass the suns then it would be one of the top 3 seeds. right now the best the kings can hope for is the 4th seed.

1-3 goes to the 3 division winners

Catchin up on Dallas and its not too out of the question to reach the 4 spot. Dirk also seems to be hurt, but they are deep as an MF so you never know.

Wins and Losses in 2004-2005

I searched the file for this past thread on wins and losses to compare what everyone said last month with today.

I guessed 49 wins 13 games ago and will stick with that guess.

Does anyone else pull error messages and get locked up when visiting NBA.com?

I have been having problems with NBA.com, and only NBA.come, for several weeks. It actually dumps me off the Internet.

I use netscape and it works fine

Magic Eight-Ball Says ....
Kings will finish the season 11-11 .... giving them 47 wins.

Should be good enough for 6th spot.

Our magic 8 balls better get together because mine is saying 14-8.....giving them 50 wins. ;)

+/- Fudge Factor in effect .... somewhere between 47 - 50 ???

I have the exact same problem, the new format sucks.

8-5 so far with 9 to go if kings go 6-3 they finish with 50 wins which I think would be huge with all of the injuries and new players they have gone through this year.

Its probably the drop down ads that are doing it. I ahd a problem about a year ago with espn, imdb + a few other sites, and I suspect it was because of some sort of ad they were using. Would freeze IE on both of my home computers, but not the one at work, so I had to use Netscape to access those sites (and those sites only! :p ). Works fine now though, as does NBA.com. Probably a similar issue here.

So whats everybodies prediction for the last 9?

6-3 to finish out the rest of the regular season.

@CLV W
Hm vs MIN W (my homerism is showing and King's dim T'wolves chances of making playoffs)
Hm vs SEA L (King's could win ... Sonics will be in cruise mode)
@PRT W
Hm vs LAL W
@LAL L
@PHX L
Hm vs UT W
Hm vs PHX W (what's PHX care, they got home-court and they don't want any injuries)

7-2 Kings go on a hot streak to end the season.

we get lucky getting cleveland on the back of a b2b.

I think if the kings play their cards right they could quite possibly win out, my main problem is at portland which we always seem to have a problem there

Are you running XP-Pro ???
Did you install Service Pack 2 ???

If the answers to the above are both yes, I'd do some research into SP-2.

I uninstalled SP-2 a few months ago and my system has been working FINE ever since.
