Acquired by Philadelphia from Sacramento on Feb. 23, 2005, Chris Webber brings a wealth of experience gathered over his 12 NBA seasons. He is currently making his ninth trip to the playoffs. Webber has averaged 21.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game over his career and has five All-Star appearances under his belt.

He is still working to overcome a severe knee injury that he suffered in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals at Dallas on May 8, 2003. He would miss the first 50 games of the 2003-04 season before returning on Feb. 16, 2004 and playing in 23 games that season.

A former No. 1 overall draft choice by Orlando and the 1993 NBA Rookie of the Year, Webber brings terrific passing skills for a big man and often finds himself at the top of the key helping to direct traffic during games. In 21 games with the Sixers, he averaged 15.6 points and 7.9 rebounds with 3.1 assists per game.

Chris is scheduled to chat live with fans at 1:30 ET on Thursday, April 28. Post your questions now and come back for the live chat.

Amul (Philadelphia): Chris, what can we do to stop detriot and get a win in philly on friday

Chris Webber: Hmmm. Man. We can feed off the home crowd. And we can get stops that lead to breaks. Allen is so fast, that when he has the ball and we break, it's Tarzanish.

AJ (Ventnor): Chris, suffering your knee injury do you feel your knee at 100% or are you still working on getting it stronger?

Chris Webber: No, it's nowhwere near a 100-percent. But last summer I had to prepare to make it through a season, this summer I will be preparing to dominate through a season.

Kaaran Singh Hanover Park: Hows the city of Brotherly Love? Are you welcomed as much in Sacramento?

Chris Webber: Yes. I feel as welcome here as in Sacramento. The only reason I'm not as comfortable yet, is because I haven't had the free time to get around by myself. But, yes, I'm very comfortable.

Tro, Atlanta: What's up C-Webb? How much different is your role in Philly's offense than it was in Sacramento.

Chris Webber: Exact opposites. Exact opposites.

Greg (Buffalo): Chris, being a veteran in this league, and a very respected one at that, what do you feel is the most valuable asset for a team to have going into the playoffs?

Chris Webber: Either a coach that is a veteran coach, or a coach that has played, or a veteran-laden team. Playoffs are ALL about experience. More than anything else, it's about experience.

Nathan (Elkins Park): C-Webb, I've been a big fan of yours for a long time and am glad you are in Philly. What's with the hat that's coming out. Do you have a website where I can get it?

Chris Webber: I do have a web site. It is www.chriswebber.com. It will be opening in the summer. But now the hat can be purchased anywhere you can find New Era hats.

Daryn (Oklahoma City): How are you CWebb? What is your pre-game routine??

Chris Webber: I keep my pre-game routine the same throughout the year. After the shootaround or morning meeting I talk on the phone, eat, watch a little TV, then I'm in the bed by around 1:30 pm. The I wake up just in time to be a little bit early for the bus. Then it's game time.

Anand (Philadelphia): How do you think the Sixers can more effectively control the glass and make defensive stops?

Chris Webber: We have to keep everybody in the paint. We can't allow our defensive scheme to make us weak rebounders.

Casey (Atlanta): Hi Chris, What are you favorite things to do during the off season and in your spare time?

Chris Webber: Oh, man. Fishing. Boating. Anything to do with outside sports, water sports. And also, spending time with my family.

Josiah (Hicksville): Hey Chris, do you still keep in contact with your Fab 5 friends?

Chris Webber: Yeah. Everybody! Until I die!

Kristjan: How many years do you feel you have left to play pro basketball? Thank you

Chris Webber: Three, five and seven. And this summer will be the basis for it all.

Chris Webber: I'd like to thank all you guys. Not only for logging in today, but for supporting me throughout my career. Besides my love for the game, you guys are the only reason that I can continue to keep perservering. Thank you guys.
