The Broncos offense showed more promise tonight than the Kings have
This is that Sunday afternoon at the Y with a buncha fat boys and we are already down by double digi so let's just "wing it" level of bad... hahahahaBrown has said the same thing during the season before too. The issue tonight is the player he lets wing it the most is Fox and he's not here haha.
I mean, the Clipps are missing their 2 best players. There are no excuses for getting blown out like this. It’s preseason and the Kings are still literally missing half their rotation.
Also there were years where the Kings looked GREAT in preseason only to get their pants blown off in the regular season so this just sorta balances that out.

And the other players that are capable of winging it are either too new to the team to really try it (Demar), injured (Monk), or friendly Iowans (Keegan).Brown has said the same thing during the season before too. The Clips also have like five guys fighting like hell to keep their roster spot from getting taken up by sex offenders.I mean, the Clipps are missing their 2 best players. There are no excuses for getting blown out like this.
I mean... we have a fair share of injuries too I supposed. In regular season, we wouldn't have to dip into the 3rd and 4th line up with the Joneses if we have Huerter, Lyles, etc.Yeah, the only downside if the Kings have a slow start to the year and look this disjointed Brown is taking some serious heat for this preseason, lol. Even if it's completely ridiculous considering yes, we know these players aren't treating this like the regular season right now.

Game 1 the Kings looked good. It has been DOWNHILL since then. Tonight is inexcusable

Yea I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s hard to envision everything suddenly coming together against that wolves team come opening night. I’m trying not to think the worst, but they certainly can’t come out flat against them. Good luck if so.I agree we shouldn’t get too out of whack in preseason but it’s hard when you have to dig for a silver lining. Right now I’d say the only consistent positive is Keegan which is huge and the offensive rebounding. Everything else is either consistently bad or equally bad/good. To me that is worrisome.
Jim Jackson is at least way less bias than anyone from the Bay Area...
The Kings have good guard depth but that only works when most of the guys aren’t sitting out. Keon getting into immediate foul trouble hasn’t helped because by mid-way through the second quarter, Mike Brown had to resort to playing Keegan at the two because the only guard not tired or injured was Boogie Ellis.I mean... we have a fair share of injuries too I supposed. Stop making excuses and call it for what it is. The Kings have talent yet no sense of urgency. And the other players that are capable of winging it are either too new to the team to really try it (Demar), injured (Monk), or friendly Iowans (Keegan).
Sort of makes those old Portland teams not look so bad with of course the noted exception of Ruben Patterson. It was just a flat out rapist. The Clips also have like five guys fighting like hell to keep their roster spot from getting taken up by sex offenders.
given the way we are playing we could use a sex offender or two.

The T-Wolves, for their part, have not looked particularly hot in preseason either.Yea I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s hard to envision everything suddenly coming together against that wolves team come opening night. Are we allowed to call preseason games disgusting?
Maybe an unneeded take, but I don't think Colby, Mason, and Isaac are NBA players. I hope they find their footing in the league eventually though. Colby still has some raw potential, but he's a guy who might need to bounce around the GLeague
Waiting for Devin Carter to save us is kind of disgusting.True, but the issue is those players didn't stem any tides last year either. They are still system dependent role guys. The system isn't THIS bad though and we all know that. The Kings lack creators and with Fox or Monk out and Domas/DDR playing awful, this team is doomed. Like any team would be. Now, when that Devin Carter dude finally shows up, that might be a different story. He's got serious on and off ball potential.
