I know Mike Brown runs a "make a decision" type of system, but it doesn't look like the team collectively is smart enough to "make a decision" so maybe they need something more "rigid" and "preset".
Mike Brown has been perfectly clear in his interviews that in the preseason he’s not actually calling any plays or game planning like he would in regular games.
This is a lot like last year right now. Probably should try going down low, the DHO is bombing. It's clear to see all the Kings PG's that are actually SG's and tonight are simply initiating on a two dribble draw and kick or hand offs. Predictable.

The DHO doesn't really require a play call either. It's move lateral, set up Domas, and they run two man game. This is where you have to actually position the floor based on what you're seeing defensively.
Not getting the arena feed on League Pass here (but I am getting the Clippers' broadcast, which is almost as bad) but I, too, would rather be listening to G-Man right now.

You can't say that this is not one of those moments where you question everything with this team. I hate nit picking. This is not nit picking. This is full blown panic.
DeRozan and Domas not having it tonight. You can see the lack of familiarity glaring at you without Fox out there. This might end up being a good thing in case they do have to carry some games this season. Trial by fire.

It’s preseason and the Kings are still literally missing half their rotation.
Also there were years where the Kings looked GREAT in preseason only to get their pants blown off in the regular season so this just sorta balances that out.
