**PRAYER THREAD** (merged)

I'd like to request thoughts and prayers for my friend John, whose wife had to take him to the emergency room last night with heart problems. (He's already had two heart attacks.) They're performing tests right now to see what procedure(s) he needs to have.

My young friend, Marcus, has died as the result of a car accident this weekend. Please pray for my Star Wars group (as Marcus was a member), and particularly the Davis family. His parents are members of the group as well.
 
My sympathies and prayers to Marcus' family and friends for their sudden loss.

My thoughts and prayers go out to John and his family and friends, too.
 
Update on John: He had angioplasty on three different blood vessels, two of which were 90% blocked and one which was over 80% blocked. They're planning on releasing him to come home tomorrow, thanks to modern medicine AND the power of prayer. Thanks to everyone!!
 
Sometimes I can be a real dummy. I didn't even think to come to my prayer partners until now.

The Reasonable Accomodations office gathered all the paperwork from me, my office, and my doctor and have approved the doctor's request to move me to another office within the organization. This happened 5-6 weeks ago. While I understand that it can take awhile to find a vacant equivalent job, I am struggling with patience.

So, while I struggle with my patience (or lack thereof), please pray that they find me another position soon. Thanks!!

I went to Marcus' memorial service today. I passed on your prayers to the Davis family and they were most appreciative. It was a lovely service with over 300 people. Marcus was a good kid and much loved, as is all of the Davis family.

Some might think this trivial, but could you say a quick prayer for my mom and dad. They had to put my cat who was almost 19 years old down this morning.
When I moved up here and couldn't bring him, they took him and loved him as much as I did. I knew he was declining, but was hoping I could see him one last time when I go to my mom and dad's in a couple weeks for their 50th anniversary party.
I'm sad. I can only imagine how much harder is is for them.

My sincere condolences, hoopsie.

Gayle Greeno wrote a series of books several years ago about mystical cats called Ghatti, who formed unique bonds with human partners. In one of the books, she mourned the lost of one of her own cats and wrote the following as a dedication:

Prayers for you and your mom and dad, hoopsie. Yes, it can be a very sad time. Glad you all had so many wonderful years with Adolf.
 
My condolences to you and your parents, Hoopsie. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved furry friend. Sounds like Adolph loved well and was well-loved.
 
Family prayer needed

I just got word today that my step-brother, Mike, has prostate cancer. He has a conference with the doctor's on Friday. Please pray for healing.

Obviously, family members are concerned. Especially pray for my 80 year old mom. She is asking for everyone we know to pray. :(
 
6th, My prayers are with you all.

May I also ask for everyone's prayers as well? I have been having health issues for a couple of months. I had an eye surgery that uncovered some other issues with my eyes and brain. We are still in the testing and ruling out phase and are still hopeful that a diagnosis and treatment will be coming soon. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers.
