Post Your 2009 Mock Drafts

Zack

G-League
See how you stack up to the actual draft tonight.

1) LA Clippers- Blake Griffin 6-9 252 PF Oklahoma So.
Griffin is the consensus #1.

2) Memphis- Hasheem Thabeet 7-3 265 C UConn Jr.
Thabeet is big and that is a good enough reason.

3) Okla.City- James Harden 6-5 220 SG Arizona St. So.
The Thunder could use a 2 guard and Harden is ready to go.

4) Sacramento- Ricky Rubio 6-4 180 PG Spain
Hopefully nobody snags Rubio before the Kings do. They need a good PG and he has good hair.

5) Minnesota -Tyreke Evans PG 6-5 Memphis
Obama likes Evans so he is the next pick.

6) Minnesota- Stephen Curry 6-1 180 PG Davidson Jr.
Minnesota gets Curry here to shoot it.

7) Golden St.- Jru Holliday 6-3 PG UCLA
The W’s could use a big guard like Holliday to cover Monta Scooter’s man on D.

8) New York- Jonny Flynn 6-0 PG Syracuse
Jonny needs to get the ball up the court to the Italian guy or the Italian coach will get mad.

9) Toronto- Demar DeRozan 6-6 210 SG USC Fr.
I guess the Rapto’s could use a SF/SG. I hope he likes poutine.

10) Milwaukee- Earl Clark 6-8 220 SF Louisville Jr.
The Bucks need a new SF since they dumped Jefferson yesterday.

11) New Jersey- Jordan Hill 6-10 226 PF Arizona Jr.
First PF off the board.

12) Charlotte- Gerald Henderson 6-5 210 SG Duke Jr.
The Bobcats don’t know what they are doing, so they take Henderson here.

13) Indiana- Tyler Hansbrough 6-8 245 PF UNC Sr.
This guy will probably get some rebounds with his hands bro’.

14) Phoenix- Austin Daye SF/PF 6-10 Gonzaga
This guy needs to get a little stronger, maybe start with a few gorgonzola sandwiches.

15) Detroit- BJ Mullens 7-0 275 C Ohio St. Fr.
Hopefully Detroit doesn’t blow it here.

16) Chicago- James Johnson 6-8 235 SF Wake Forest So.
I don’t know much about this guy.

17) Philadelphia- Brandon Jennings 6-1 170 PG USA 1989
Jennings at 17 would be a pretty good pick here. We’ll see if he falls this far.

18) Minnesota- DeJuan Blair 6-6 287 PF Pittsburgh So.
Blair would be a good 3rd big guy for the Wolfs.

19) Atlanta- Ty Lawson 6-0 195 PG UNC Jr.
If ATL gets a point guard here Team Dime will have to look for some new condos.

20) Utah- Chase Budinger 6-7 215 SG Arizona Jr.
I think this dude can shoot.

21) New Orleans- Terrence Williams 6-6 220 SG Lou. Sr.
Terrence would be a steal here and would be just what the doctor ordered for the Hornets.

22) Portland- Omri Casspi 6-8 225 SF Israel Intl.
Portland jumped up to 22 in a trade just to steal this guy from the Kings.

23) Sacramento- Taj Gibson 6-9 223 PF USC Jr.
Kings get some more help in the frontcourt. They need help.

24) Dallas- Jeff Teague 6-2 175 PG Wake Forest So.
Teague could be good here, like a new and improved Jason Terry.

25) Okla.City- Nick Calathes PG/SG 6-5 Florida
I think the Thunder have too many guys, so they take this guy and he’ll just hang at the beach in Greece for a year.

26) Chicago- Josh Heytvelt 6-11 238 C Gonzaga Sr.
This guy can go ride ATVs with Brad Miller in the summer.

27) Memphis- DaJuan Summers 6-8 225 SF Georgetown Jr.
This guys is an enigma, wrapped in a pancake, and dipped in salsa

28) Minnesota- Luke Nevill 7-1 265 C Utah Sr
Sleeper pick. I needed a sleeper and this is what I came up with.

29) LA Lakers-Darren Collison 6-1 178 PG UCLA Sr.
Here’s a guy from UCLA. Maybe they’ll let him keep living in the dorms?

30) Clevelend- Wayne Ellington 6-5 194 SG UNC Jr.
The Cavs don’t care about the draft, they just go Shaq.
