out of the last 4 names mentioned in here who is the best defender and best 3-pt shooter and who has the best combo of the both?
Rashad McCants
Rafer Alston
Patrick Mills
Jeremy Lin
I agree. And this is one reason why I wanted Hawes and Nocioni out of this team. Luckily and thanks to Petrie he kicked out Hawes and Nocioni out of this team before Cousins and Whiteside got drafted. Those kind of mentality are sometimes contagious you know.I dont want castaways that need an attitude adjustment on our roster this season...if we only win 35 games with stability and promise for next season, so be it...I'd rather have that in the locker room than Olden Polynice-type negative Nancy's that think they're God's gift to basketball, and whining about their playing time and why they arent starting or scoring 20 points a game. No thanks on both McCants and Clipper castaway Dooling...thank you, that is all.![]()
Patrick Mills is def. the best shooter out of those 4. As for defending, I haven't seen much of Lin to judge, but I would go with Rafer.
This would be good. From the Bay Area, so practically a hometown boy.Kings should go after Jeremy Lin.
I think this thread is proving there are no good options for signing another guard. So I had a wild idea, what about bringing back Bibby as a backup PG?
Atlanta -> Bibby + 2011 1st Round Draft Pick + $3 Million Cash
Sacramento -> Conditional 2018 2nd rounder + TPE
The going rate of first rounders seems to be about 3 Million so that would be a cost of 3 Million a year for Bibby. His contract ends next year, but I don't think that will be a problem since we will only have 28 Million in Salaries for our 8 rotation guys and there will be even fewer FA next offseason. (If there is an offseason.)
the Kings looked for a guard or two to stand out.
"I think that nobody stood out as kicking down the door of opportunity," Kings head coach Paul Westphal said. "Let's put it that way."
The group of guards included Donald Sloan, who signed a non-guaranteed, one-year contract before summer league.

Thank god Sloan's contract is not guarenteed he really sucked in the SL
Glad our options are still open for SG and third PG
Not sure any of the SL team guards can make the team
Time to go to work GP
go get us some talent at a bargain price
unless its a starting SG better than cisco then its ok
to maybe spend some bucks
we can cross cj watson off the list, golden state did a sign and trade with him to chicago for a 2nd round pick
Done.
Anyways, any signing we make should be in the guard department. We have only 3 guards under contract in Reke, Beno, and Garcia.
And Atlanta would do that why? They wanna win now; trading away their starting PG for cap relief would probably be followed by a mob with torches and pitchforks
Kings should go after Jeremy Lin.
I'd the Kings to take a flyer on Shannon Brown. Apparently the Lakers are more interested in Matt Barnes. I doubt that they'll sign both..
He was just offered a contract to play in Israel, so if we're going to go after him, better do it quickly.can we make a strong push for Mills or what?! If not him I'd rather stick again with our own J-Will.
another reason for me to hate the lakers..........http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_a...ested_in_signing_undrafted_rookie_jeremy_lin/
This kid should be signed by the Kings, if for no other reason the Laker want him!Seems to me the Kings have a heck of a good selling point with this guy - he could potentially get a lot of PT with the Kings and grow with the team.
Atlanta has Crawford and Teague at the PG spot. According to most Atlanta message boards they can't wait to get rid of Bibby. Also a fan base would have to sellout playoff games before they could form a mob.
