Are there no other kings fans here rooting for the Lakers? I realize they were big time rivals, but don't the suns just irritate anyone else here??
I'm rooting for the Suns to get killed dead... in the second round, though; **** the lakers. Are there no other kings fans here rooting for the Lakers? I realize they were big time rivals, but don't the suns just irritate anyone else here??

Root for the Lakers? Blasphemy!!!![]()
Even if the Suns irritated me (which they don't), irritation is not the same as Laker hatred...........and never will be.![]()
No, the Suns don't irritate me. I want the Suns to beat the Lakers. Are there no other kings fans here rooting for the Lakers? I realize they were big time rivals, but don't the suns just irritate anyone else here??

First eight seasons - 3 championships, 20 series wins
One and a half championships? Just think of the stories you could tell!I wonder how many players would love to get half that much in their entire career.

Most of them. I don't think there's any question that Kobe has had, and will continue to have, a great career. I'm not a personal fan of his, but you have to admire the talent.
What I always think of when I look at stats like that is why it had to happen. I wonder if Kobe can still look back and think that playing with Shaq was so horrible. I'm not being facetious, I just wonder in retrospect if that isn't one of those "be careful what you wish for" situations.

You're only looking at half of the story, but, whatever.(actually 1/3 of the story.)
I'm not going there...again.
Do you think they would've won another title had they been kept together? I don't see it.
Right now, things might be lookin even uglier behind the scenes in LA if they were both together. In the past, there's no way in hell the Suns would've beaten LA w/ Shaq in the middle. After seeing Shaq in the Chicago series, I don't even think Shaq would've made a diff against the Suns this year.
Honestly I have no idea. I just thought that Kobe & Shaq were pretty dang good together. And, you're right, things might have been worse if it stayed together, I don't know all the details, I just think sometimes it would have been interesting to see how things went with the Lakers if Kobe & Shaq had stayed together.
