Doesnt seem terrible. Dalembert averaged 8.6 boards in 24 minutes of play!? If the Kings do this we wont have any cap room for another 2 years. On the good side we would get rid of Beno alot quicker and hopefully dalembert would rebound and block shots well.
 
Maybe, but I would hope that we would be able to get more for Thomas' expiring contract. That's the same as a good player for teams wanting to get cap room for 2010.

For teams like New York, it might mean any player on their roster. If we can boost Udrih's stats, then we can find a team that needs a PG.

It works but it adds $6.5M to our salary next year. If the Kings wanted to spend that much on a backup Center, they would have made a offer for Gortat.


Beno isn't that bad that we need to take on that much salary to get rid of him. Plus no one knows how Rudy & Tyrek will work out yet. We can wait at least until the preseason to make some moves.

Yeah, I tend to agree with you. I've got no problem with a one year deal for a backup center at the league minimum. But I think we should move carefully right now and not take away any options we might have in the future.

Absolutely, I'd do this, then I'd turn around and deal Nocioni for to the Raptors for Banks/Antoine Wright and a lotto protected 1st.

New roster:

C: Hawes, Dalembert
PF: Thompson, May, Brockman
SF: Garcia, Greene, Casspi
SG: Martin, Wright
PG: Evans, Rodriguez, Banks

I could roll with that roster, and be MAJOR FA players in 2011!
