Petrie to sign PG?

Insidehoops updated free agent PGs last week as follows:

POINT GUARDS: Rod Strickland, Brandon Armstrong, Troy Bell, Omar Cook, Jay Williams, Corey Alexander, J.R. Bremer, Anthony Goldwire, Vonteego Cummings, Kareem Reid, Emanual Davis, Tito Maddox, Marcus Hattan.

None of them get me excited.

That's just it about Mateen...he was a good college player and nothing more. Nevertheless, he's on Seattle's roster, but is on the IL right now. However, it would be nice to get the worst dressed man in the NBA back on the Kings' bench...his sweaters were horrible.

Kind of off topic, but I thought the worst dressed player is still Sprewell. :p

Id raherv have Mateen as a towel waver the DMartin. Mateen is juast so skilled as a towel waver. I think he is HOF worthy.;)

I heard Derrick Coleman is available BTW:p

Goldwire just signed with Pistons and Nuggets and Clips re planning to pluck one from the list shortly.

Baron Davis rumored as tradeable but not for Bibby I hope. Other PGs seem to have issues. Then there is Liu or Chen, both true PGs but with no NBA experience so don't seen them here either, not now. BJax are really big shoes to fill. Will be tough.

I already advanced my semi-serious Baron trade scenario. ;)

Otherwise much more likely, and much more Petrie, for us just to pick up a body for the season. The real changes are much more likely to come in the offseason if we don't make it than midseason I would think.
