when you "put the proper team around" a specific player, that means you're intent is to build around that player, making him the focal point of the team. peja is not the kind of player you want to build your team around.

for all the peja lovers out there. to remind you why he should be traded.... in the grizzlies game when he thought he had a "OPEN LAYUP" he layed it up instead of throwing it down. what was the result? Actually I am not at all sure Pop would consider it.

Nor really should we given Bowen's rather extreme limitations and age.

A guy like Kirlenko = absolutely and without even a half second's thought. But Bowen is a very limited specialist that only has a great impact alongside certian players and in specific systems. Far better as a final piece to a title puzzle than as any sort of savior/turnitaround guy for a bad team.

Why would you want Bowen when you can probably get Artest who can play both ends of the court.

AK 47 is OK but if player has extremely good numbers in all five categories on stats sheet on every game, he cannot play more that 40 games per season due to injuries…. and that’s the case with AK….and also I think hes overpaid

no, no, no.........I'm not suggesting that...I'm trying to figure out why that guy (AK) has such stats but still no play-off game and still not strong mvp candidate.... he is paid as franchise player but frankly he is not (yet) on that level
