Ormi = Ailene Voisin's new Peja

I enjoyed this Voisin article on Omri Casspi . The best parts by far are quotes by some of the Kings players (especially Hawes) and Coach Westphal.

I enjoyed the article. Anyone who has or rents a house on the Sacramento River is my kind of guy. Good article as most all of Voisin's. Have always enjoyed her stuff. Omri holds a lot of interest for more than just Kings fans. I'm sure we'll see stuff on him on a regular basis. Today is a big day for him playing for the first time at MSG. Also, pretty special having your father fly over from the other side of the ocean. Go Omri and Kings.

It may be a little more.
After all, Coop has more connections to the team and Sacramento than the average sportswriter.

Actually, when I was reading about all the stuff Omri does before and after games and in an awful lot of what amounts to his limited "free time," it had me a little worried that it wasn't way too much. Everything he does day in and day out has to be tiring, whether he's conciously aware of it or not.

I'd say, if the Kings aren't worried that its too much, then they should be.

Westphal said it will be interesting how Omri will handle it, (like watching nat geo wild interesting?) so they probably don't worry too much, they have tons of SF's so why worry?

Seriously, we have 4/5 guys who can play SF. It's a little ridiculous

There are several ironies I see here, one that we shouldn't have to worry about tiring a small forward player on this team, and, two, we don't IMO have one starter quality player right now to start at SF. Hopefully someday but not now ergo the team's constantly trying different players at that spot.

Okay that wsn't as bad as I feared. She's done it before with both Peja and then later Kevin. This is closer to the Kevin stuff than Peja's sweaty muscles and most of the article is free of romance novel stuff. Maybe she's worried about appearing to be a cougar. :)
