I think we would probably need to offer than WCS/Gay/Ben to have even a slight chance of getting Butler and they probably reject that deal

Aside from Cousins that's the only package imo we could do for the Bulls to listen, I agree with you but your not getting him just for Rudy/any other player not WCS and Ben is worth nothing at this point.

Possible we may be keeping our pick here, draft day you might be able to try Rudy/pick/Ben. Not saying it would be successful, but might alleviate the Bulls angst over us sucking so bad we nevr transferred that thing

Yeah I'd love that deal if possible but I feel unless we get like a high pick other teams got way more and better stuff to trade for Jimmy.

I'd easily add WCS in the deal, WCS/Gay/Ben/1st for Butler and Snell. You than sign Anderson (21mill per) than use 10mill on jared Dudley.

instead of the 10million for Dudley I would offer that to Lance Thomas him and Jimmy would be the best defensive wing pairing in the NBA but yeah I agree with you I love WCS but I would trade him for Butler no doubt.

I do like Butler but Gay, WCS and this years pick is an over pay. Gay, Ben and the pick is the offer. Name some of the trades other teams will offer?

Why would you give up on Trill after his rookie season? sounds too much of a Kings trend and no wonder why talent always leaves this team. You don't trade Trill period. Even with Karl holding back his rookie season, he has made great strides in the season considering the circumstances.

I don't think I would do this deal, but trading WCS for arguably the best two-way SG in the league is not "giving up" on him.

Maybe it's just me but I'd rather have another skilled big than a skilled guard.

Thing is I think its just entirely unrealistic.

Vlade's not going to trade WCS. I think sometimes you just have to read the tea leaves and restrict yourself to real possibilities.

Nor do I think he should BTW. WCS is a nearly unique force as a Cousins pairing. We waited 6 years to find him. Outside of Cuz himself he should be the most untouchable piece on the roster. Actually have a few questions about Butler now. Think this is two coaches in a row he has developed issues with, and he hasn't bounced back from injury at all. Obviously I would still like him if it were indeed possible, but there are cautionary notes and a long history of swingmen who flared up for a year or two, had an injury, and weren't special enough to remain important afterward. Don't want to get caught trading a key irreplaceable piece and ending up with Josh Howard.

Getting Butler isn't giving up in him... I love WCS as well but a front court of Butler/Anderson/DMC and I'm booking my 2nd round playoffs seats at minimum.

There is no way Divac would trade either of Cousins or WSC for Butler.

If, and I mean if there is some legs to the rumors and IF we go down the path of exploring the trade, I could see this being along the lines of Gay/McLemore/our 1st round pick for Butler or Butler and Snell.

But (1) Bazemore is going to end up signing for more than $12 million I'm guessing and (2) if the Rockets beat the Kings in the final game they are the 8th seed and lose their pick. It would take a loss to the Kings and the Jazz beating the Lakers for the Rockets to land in the lottery.

But I'd love that kind of lineup. Add in a top 10 pick to add depth and Acy & Koufos in the rotation of bigs and you have something. I'd start WCS next to Boogie and let Anderson get the bulk of the minutes behind both of them but that's just quibbling. I'd be a lot happier watching that team than another year of Rondo/Gay/Cousins

If the Kings do bring in Anderson I would love if they would trade Rudy for a SG and sign Lance Thomas to be the starting 3 man.
