Unfortunately, his offensive game is limited to catching and dunking, so he doesn't get to use that speed to score very often.

on the downside, less polished offensively
Basically he's a pure defensive/reboudning roleplayer. But what he does well is exactly what we need somebody to do.
Sometimes I think people worry too much about that "quick enough to play PF" bit. He's a good athlete and quicker than Scot Pollard, who is still that big 6'11" defensive body off the bench that we (or at least ILPKingsFan said:Exactly. While I don't know if we'd start him next to Brad, he'd excel as the 3rd big man for sure. Is he quick enough to play PF? Or is this where we find ourselves again with the whole "Move Miller to PF" debate?

In any case, of the three guys we got in that trade, Skinner remains the one I wouldn't mind keeping around AS A PF, not a center. He's 6'9". Decent size for a PF and tough enough to be on the roster. If Gadzuric was the 3rd big man as a C/PF, and Skinner a 4th/5th as a PF/C, you'd have a couple of reserve guys with good size/rebounding/defense for their positions which would be a welcome change from the last few years
I don't think we can get Brown for MLE. Now I am not good when it comes to these things but according to hoopshype, Brown has a qualifying offer of $6,970,435 so i would assume for anyone to sing him up they would have to offer him at least that much moneyKev.in said:I like Donyell Marshall, Eddie Griffin and Kwame Brown as candidates if we're looking for a big man. Among guards, I like Earl Watson, Chris Duhon, Marko Jaric and Raja Bell. Any one of these guys would probably take up most, if not all, of the MLE to be signed.

How much would Joe Johnson cost on the open market??????
I would assume he would be commanding a fair bit more than the MLE but can someone roughly suggest how much he would be worth in terms of $$$??????
Much appreciated![]()
If i'm not mistaken Wiz have to make this offer of 6.97 mln to Kwame in the first place then they are allowed to just match any offer, if they do not make qualifying offer he's free agent and can sign for any money. I very much doubt Wiz will make a qualifying offer to Brown.Čarolija said:I don't think we can get Brown for MLE. Is this right or can someone sign him up for MLE??????![]()
If Wiz make a qualifying offer they may be stuck with him as there are not many teams with cap space and it's pretty clear Kwame's not the best or I guess one of the 5 best free agents this year. So it's pretty dangerous not allowing him go for free.WalMatt23 said:Washington might not want to keep Brown, but I can't see them letting him go for free.
