Nick Young has agreed to a four-year, $21.5m deal to stay with the Lakers, league source says. Fourth year is player option.

Holy moly. o_O

If nothing else it's been a good offseason for the Kings in that with the crazy contracts flying around the Thompson and Landry deals are starting to look cheaper and cheaper and more and more moveable.

If we really believe in Evans at the 4, we could probly offload one or both those guys for enders and suddenly turn into a team next offseason that can get assets for cap space which has turned into a pretty god strategy the last few offseasons.

You go into next season with minimal cap committed, resign Rudy and then deal your space for future picks and guys that don't fit on their teams who want to clear space. Although the best season to do that might be the season when they renegotiate the cba and the cap goes up, since it seems like some players are already tailoring their contracts to end that year (see Lebron)

Over the last two off-seasons the Hornets have put together a nice team for an eastern conference. First they get big Al and now Lance. On paper, they just improved significantly. Lance comes wth the baggage but the guy can play and on purely talent he is a bargain.

wtf is NO doing signing the fish...

They needed guard depth and their SF depth chart currently features Omri Casspi and Luke Babbitt as the two top options unless they decide to throw Tyreke out at the 3 again (which is probably going to happen because Monty Williams is like Keith Smart only somehow unfireable).

I think I heard last night that they waived Omri.

EDIT: I stand corrected. It was Omri, basically waving goodbye to New Orleans. ;)

Didn't think a thread was necessary so I might as well post it here. I was browsing the RealGM Sacramento Kings thread and they posted links of Phil Jackson being interested in either Carl or JT for JR Smith. I don't know how legit that rumor is but take it for what its worth.

"David 'Dubi' Pick: "This is a big season for my career, it's important that I play," Omri Casspi said upon arrival in Israel. New Orleans isn't the best situation for me. We'll finalize terms of split," Omri Casspi added. - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors/tag/omri_casspi#sthash.fOOoS34e.dpuf"

Omri being Omri. He had a lot of potential has a energy role player but he wanted to be more
Man, and I thought that there were people here who didn't like Tyreke Evans...

Lakers signed Ed Davis 2 year 2 million dollar deal what a cheap and good signing, I wonder if we made ANY attempt to sign him that deal is crazy low imo for a guy with his type of talent.
