Gibbs with a great run - impressive speed....Lions are winning in spite of Goff
Lions are going to need to figure out quick that Gibbs needs way more than 9 touches. Dude has some serious pop and looked like he could house it any time he got the ball in space.

But I guess 3 yards and a cloud of dust D-Mont is good too.

With a good QB the team would be playoff caliber easy......they may even win with Goff anyways....

3 straight handoffs into 4th and tough is Goff’s fault? I’m only half paying attention to the game, but that’s Goff’s fault?
Yeah, Goff has been fine, not sure why he's freaking out. He of course is a limited QB, but you kind of know that going in. Jimmy G syndrome where he can make a few plays, run the offense, but he needs talented playmakers around him. Classic, he's the "23rd" best QB in the NFL

He's worse than Jimmy G....yes, 23rd maybe. That SB dud proved it

Happy days with a Game 1 Geeks loss! Way to start the season......
No Kelce, no good.....odds-makers had him worth 2-3 pts on the line. Pretty sure the Chiefs convert 1 of those FGs to TDs with Kelce in.....

They’re gonna do something crazy. But they better win, because in three years we’re the Rams.
If Purdy improves a bunch, its a good thing - means they'll be competing for a championship and that's the objective - if he improves only a bit, he will get paid, but not maximum money, and they still have a shot.. Their formula is pass-rush and running game.

I'm a bit worried on the injury when Purdy tries throwing 40-50 yards.....I dont think he can throw it 60 years just on the eye test. I'm sure they've had him really throw all-in on practice already anyway.

Honestly, it's the right process in the NFL. Unless you have a Mahomes, Brady, Manning esq QB, a teams title window is 2,maybe 3 years max. We're in a super unique spot where if Purdy is actually good, we'll have another 3 years to put an all- star team on the field while he's free

Plus it should be noted that where the Rams went wrong is that they went a little too deep into win now territory where they pretty much traded ALL their picks for guys who either retired or plain left in free agency like Von Miller or sorta became so toxic or injured that they lost all value entirely (Ramsey and Stafford). And that’s all after their first cycle of trading for and bringing in guys like Talib and Suh, and they having to trade even more assets to replace those guys. Rams haven’t proven to be nearly as good as the Niners at finding guys later in the draft either.
