RE: Bosa negotiations, there is probably more than $4 million dollars at stake - my guess is something cascading or rubbing up against out year considerations and team cap space, or additional terms unstated. Lets say a 4 year deal at $125 million - $4 million is 3% of the negotiation, I doubt that itself is the sticking point.

There has to be other cuts we can make though. Free QB has to make all this easier to restructure. And even still, we have this year and next year with Aiyuk signed.

Just a quick look at the cap sheet, I think it's far more likely we let Kittle/Juice/Armstead/CMC go first before Aiyuk. Even just based on age and positional value of an upper tier WR. Positional value has to matter

Have to do it. As awesome as Fred Warner/Ward type of players are, you don't sacrifice the best defensive player in football entering his prime to make sure you can hold onto them.

Shanny/Lynch better get some draft magic back working next season. We won't be able to afford any more drastic misses in the early rounds the next 2 years.

The best way I can describe what the Lions are doing is Pop Warner but with adult bodies. Lots of people running fast and trying hard but not necessarily doing anything for a reason

Lions have a good slot receiver, decent Offensive line and RBs, but Lions no dice with Goff....doesn't make plays

Lions have had a decent defensive game even, but Goff is a handicap out there.
