NFL 2023-2024 Thread

CMC clearly better than Mostert, but I take Mostert at #2 over anyone else we’ve had since. Wilson was fine. Mitchell is in the same ballpark, really good but injury prone, but I’d put Mostert ahead of him.

Just imagining CMC and Mostert as 1/2 is wild.

Also; maybe I was wrong about Fields. Lmao
Yeah Mostert is faster thab McCaffrey in 100 yards, but McCaffrey is the best receiving running back in the NFL and also a good extra yard runner for his sizel -he does everythingl at least well. The 49ers let Mostert go way too easily. Even now, Mostert would be a moderate upgrade over Mitchell.

Ouch. Bad loss for da Boys. It seems I’ve underestimated our competition in the NFC West. Arizona, although 1-2 has been mostly competitive, Seattle 2-1 now, Rams 1-1 with Bengals looming. Niners still far and away better but it would seem the rest of the West not just going to lay down for Caleb.
The absence of Diggs was clearly present during this game. Defense is going to struggle. Offense doesn't look that impressive, either. It's going to be a long season for the Cowboys.

Also, @SLAB, All things considered, I do well, Sir :p:p:p.

I want a Niners / Dolphins rematch. They’re so explosive.
Would be such a fun super bowl with all the storyline and the chess match between Shannyn and McDaniel
As a life long Dolphins fan still haunted by 1984/85, I’m all in on this.

My Niners friends kept telling me during the SNF game last Sunday that they think the SB is going to be Niners v. Dolphins.

My Dolphins sure made that prediction look stronger a week later. ;)

They sure need to take care of business next Sunday up in Orchard Park to get a strong leg up. And the Niners can do the same in week 5 against Dallas.

I hope so......Chiefs look back unfortunately.

49ers offense will need to be more on their toes against the Cardinals. Watching the highlights, Cardinals offense look better than I thought. Convincingly beating the Cowboys should serve as warning enough. Purdy has been lucky avoiding interceptions,

SLAB

Hall of Famer

Niners absolutely going to struggle with Dobbs running. And hopefully Greenlaw’s late hit doesn’t come at an inopportune time…
