Really don't mind that pick. Too far for a FG and with no time left in the half, the Pats wouldn't be able to do anything with that ball barring something miraculous

I have no pain watching (or not watching) Tom in Tampa Bay. Pats had a two decade run that was unprecedented. It was going to end. The Colts were perennial disappointments. Thanks for reminding me about all the good times Pat :D

Sure there's the sickening part like seeing Montana play for the Chiefs but I don't think folks tried to deny Montana was great the way they hate Tom. He'll probably go down as my favorite NFL player ever and I don't begrudge him for wanting to make his stamp with another coach/team. Most players who stay with one team their entire career never have the same coach.

Plenty of people tried to place Joe Cool's success on Bill Walsh and the West Coast Offense's shoulders (also he threw to the greatest receiver of all time every week). Feel like that's price of having a great coach and great QB playing together at the same time.

Also going to be the same way for Mahomes thanks to playing for Andy Reid.

I'd feel sorry for you but your team just got done winning six championships over the last 20 years sooooo
1997 was the first year I ever rooted long term for a winner (AZ Wildcats), the last 25 years have been kind with the Boston teams. The small Kings window. I have no regrets and the last time I took on a new team to root for it was the Timbers after I moved to Portland. If no team I root for wins again I think I will have lived a pretty blessed sports fan life. I'd really like the Kings to win one while I live though!

maybe because I lived in NorCal except in 88-89 and after 92, I didn't feel it since it was all 9ers all the time.
