New alternate jersey

Twitter and another kings fan site have the kings bringing back the old checkerboard half purple half black jerseys. Other teams are also bringing back 90's uniforms.

Sorry for the lack of a link, don't know the exact rules for posting other fan sites.

I'm pretty stoked about the jerseys, though I know some fans think/thought they are hideous.

Absolutely terrible decision. This is one of the very few uniforms in NBA history WORSE than the Gold Lame alternates. It takes a special level of effort just to make a uniform look that bad. You can't get there by sheer bad luck; you have to deliberately try to make something that cringeworthy, and even then you fail to reach this level of bad 99 times out of 100. What were they thinking?

Throwback jerseys are separate from the alternates. Our alternates are the black jerseys.

I didn't mind the checkers, but the 60/40 split color was sort of goofy. I wouldn't buy one, but they weren't an eyesore for the watching games.
