Just the Kings part:
Sacramento Kings
Team Needs: PG & C

DeMarcus Cousins

The Kings have needs at PG and C. They grabbed their new certerpiece with Tyreke Evans at #4 last season, setting them up with a new age playmaker to build around. Evans won ROY with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists per game. Backup PG Beno Udrih wont be back. Ray Allen would be a good fit here, spotting up for open jumpers off Evans' penetration. Allen plays better without the basketball, unlike a Joe Johnson who dominates the rock. Wesley Johnson would be a terrific catch for the Kings if he falls to 5 with his sweet stroke and athletic gifts. The forward position is set up quite well: SF Omri Casspi had a strong rookie season with 10 & 5, 2008 1st round pick PF Jason Thompson is a beastly rebounder and post threat (12.5 & 8.5) and PF Carl Landry shattered his career high with 17 points per game last season. Other forward options include SF Donte Greene who looked far more comfortable offensively in his 2nd season, and the feisty veteran Andres Nocioni. Spencer Hawes bring a lot of unique skills to the center position i.e. three point shooting and passing, but he's lacking in the toughness and athleticism departments. Despite conditioning and character concerns, DeMarcus Cousins would a fit at the C spot.

Options at #5: DeMarcus Cousins, Wesley Johnson, Greg Monroe, Al Farouq Aminu

Options at #33: Willie Warren, Dominique Jones, Gani Lawal

He might be thinking of Noc because he wanted to be traded and we don't really have a need for him.

But like everyone I'm confused as well. :p

LOL Beno not coming back?

As long as Beno acts like Derek Fisher then the Kings will be fine. But we really do need a center.

I actually wouldn't be opposed to signing Ray Allen in free agency. He's a solid veteran who's been through many wars, a champion, and a class act. Especially if we get a volatile presence like Demarcus Cousins, I'd like to see the Kings try to sign a strong locker room presence. This young team needs to learn a winning culture.

I don't see why we need another SG. Beno and Evans play well on the court together. Evans splits minutes at point. So, with Evans on the floor and Beno on the bench in that limited time, what is wrong with Garcia at the 2? He missed most of the season with an injury, but he's capable of playing 3 positions. He can shoot. He should be fine filling in wherever he's needed.

stick with draftexpress they seem to actually know what they are doing over there.

Sometimes. They highended Tyreke as Larry Hughes last year (lowend was Willie Green!) and their egg on the face non-retraction was painful to read.

You're right. We have three potential starters at two positions and I like them all. However, we don't have a backup at both positions behind them. Therefore we need a pg and a sg in some form or another. And if we don't bring in a starting quality player at either of those positions then we must for at least two of the other three positions - pf, pf, and c. In addition to the team we have now we need at least one additional starting quality player and one very good backup, say a 1 thru 9 player minutes and effectiveness wise. I don't care how we get them or, right now, who they are but we need them in order to make significant headway in the coming season. And, while I'm pontificating, one of these two should be a veteran presence, a respected veteran presence to help stabilize this team.
