Portland’s defense was already pretty good. Now they have Holiday, Camara, and Sharpe. If Ayton could ever stay motivated, they’ve got him as a rim protector, or Clingan up next. Scoot will take over the secondary scoring from Simons. And I think they have Avidja penciled in as their primary scorer. They’re gonna be tough
Between Dlo and KC taking shots at Carter all last season, for literally no reason, now this. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ham come up with something here soon.
This kind of sounds like the classic Kiss Of Death. Trade's lined up, make sure to soften the blow to the fanbase by poisoning the waters first.

Diet? Really? lol. That would be an interesting sell considering he looks like he's got single digit body fat percentage right now. I saw that just to see and if this makes any sense then this is Riley trying to play the media again. Teams have looked to fleece the Kings from the day Carter dropped in the draft. The Heat guy was talking like the Heat would be doing a favor by taking on DeMar and Carter and would need more compensation for trading that 20 pick and Rozier. hahaha. Well, we'll know how toast the Kings are depending on the truth in all this or not.
Since there’s mention of multiple Kings players being available for trade I assume Perry and company have a specific target. I’m thinking, kind of hoping, Darius Garland.
We likely would have to trade up higher than Miami’s 20th to get one of the better projected PG’s but you never know. I could see Tyrese Proctor who might even be available at 42 an interesting option down the road. But again that’s my Australian player bias kicking in.

I’m not sure why we want an undersized guard. Also, he had an injury to his toe and I’d like to see his m play before trading for him, if we do. It’s also a problem because we would be spending a fortune on a guard when we need wings.
People who whine about incompetence within the organization and then follow up with the "fix" being absolutely horrific remains undefeated.
Except it's George who hasn't even proven himself to be a useful idiot.

Yeh teams are interested in Devin because they saw the impact Cason Wallace, Nembhard, Caruso and so on had in the playoffs. Keegan/Devin/Keon is such a good start to that kind of path. I do get not being able to play all of Lavine, Keon, Devin, Monk and “priority point guard”

Really gotta hope Perry stays strong. Of course every team is going to try and pillage our players that are pretty much needed to impact winning now. If those guys are going out in a deal, it has to be someone who can be a foundational piece coming back. Can't be any nonsense like a "only pick 20"

Not that I want to make the Thunder better but Monk would be a good fit on that team. I wonder what kinda deal could be had
They won the league because they didnt have to have anyone on the court for long time who is not a plus on defense.
Monk is not their hunting scheme.
If we get 20 and Wiggins for DeRozan, without giving up Carter, that will give me hope for the Scott Perry reign

They need another scorer on that team and they are a historically great defense, I’d imagine they could cover for Monk. At some point they need to consolidate picks, they have 5 or 6 first rounders in the next 2 years and not enough roster spaces.
Yeah, when they cut Joe from the rotation, they didn't really have another microwave shooter/scorer to go to that could drop a quick 15 outside of SGA and Jdub. And was only pretty shocking how much their offense really just fell apart and relied on them to go ISO and just hope they make shots.
I see their biggest need in a 3 point shooter that can defend.
Monk is nice and fits their offense, but in a finals scenario the opposing team would attack Monk relentlessly.
Someone like Herb Jones, Trey Murphy, our own Keegan, even Keon are players that they would be more inclined to pursue, would be my guess.

Brother they went out of there way to mention the young guys and leave Carter out were trading Carter before we see him on the floor after a summer of training. There’s no atta Bebe perry here he gone
Deal is probably Monk and Jonas for RJ
