anybody here checks on our own Spencer Hawes being?
Looks like he cant even get minute3s on the sixers. Poor Spencer, had so many promises...
I did watch a Sixers game the other night and wondered where he was... if he was hurt or something. He had his chance and I don't think not getting good coaching is the reason. He just isn't a banger and never will be and he intimated as much when he fawned all over his buddy Brockman saying he wish he had that in him. So did we Spence, so did we.anybody here checks on our own Spencer Hawes being?

Hawks and Hornets continue their win steaks. Very impressive win for the Hornets against the Heat, Paul didn't score much but he made all his teammates much better. What a crazy ending to that Suns/Griz game, I think in regulation that J. Rich tip in, if you look at the shot clock when he touched the ball didn't move as soon as he touched it, so I don't think he got it off in time, but that's just what I think. None the less, it was a very long game, but entertaining.
I'm disappointed in Wall's perfomance yesterday against the Knicks, had 8 or 9 TO's and they just went on a complete drought in the 4th quarter scoring only three points from the 7 min. mark. That's just pathetic, I don't credit New York's D because it's mediocre. I can't expect too much out of the young fella just yet, so I'll cut him some slack. He shouldn't of let Raymond Felton go off on him though, that was yuck! [end of rant]
To say Wall has a bit of a turnover issue at this point in his career is like saying that babies crying in the middle of a movie are only kind of annoying.
He's young and he'll learn.
Hornets go to 6-0. Who would of thought of that one? They play very good defense, Paul/Okafor/Ariza/Green/Smith. Keep it rolling Nawlins, I like their team they are fun to watch for sure. Clippers choke the lead away again and Dallas loses at home to Denver.
CP3 proving why he was considered the top PG in the league before he hurt got hurt a few years ago.
Aaron Brooks out 4-6 weeks. Major blow to the Rockets who are already struggling to begin the season, they had such high hopes with Yao's return. They always play hard though so I am sure they will win some games people don't expect them to win.
Regarding Gunks post about the West; I agree with you about that, it seems this year there is no body in the West that stands out besides the obvious choice in LA. OKC is struggling, Hornets are a regular season team and won't do much in the playoffs, Houston is injured and always are, Denver is just a high offensive team, Utah isn't all that impressive, same with the Mavs. When you look at the West there just isn't any competition for the Lakers, maybe...once Portland can get fully healthy with Oden/Pryzbilla back they could give the Lakers a run for their money, other than that, it's just smooth sailing til the Finals.
Boston does look very good, everybody is contributing to that team and they look strong as ever.
If Kendrick Perkins hadn't gone down, the Celts would have won last year...and with Glen Davis ballin' pretty decently, I think they can take down the Lakers this year too.
That is, if they can get past the Heat...

Nice.![]()
I know I know, I dont mean it really.
If I'm gonna go through the trouble of making a wish, it'd be that we sweep the Lakers in this year's Western Conference Finals.![]()
Denver just got annihilated by the Pacers 144-113.
In the third quarter they scored 27pts...and got doubled up! Indy dropped 54 on them in one quarter.
