In completely unexpected news, the Washington Wizards have just fired Flip Saunders, and thus defend their title as the only team in the NBA that's just as much of a cluster**** as the Kings.
dwight howard put the clips on his wishlist to be traded to. dwight, blake and cp3? thats a nasty trio. the clips could realistically pull it off sending deandre jordan, pick and spare parts to orlando.

What a surprise, quite a few celebrities turning up at clipper games too huh.
where were they hiding?

TO be fair, their situation was semi-expected because they lack any talent whatsoever aside from John Wall.
Interesting note. Both were hired at the same time and both finished with 51 wins.

As bad as this is, whoever calls it "the worst" FT ever must have only been watching NBA basketball for a couple of decades at best. In years past and I can't recall who shot them but I remember a line drive attempt that went straight into the stanchion, another attempt that sailed completely over the back board and another that slipped out of someones hand and plunked a player positioned for possible rebound. So maybe Diop's plop makes some top 10 list but it's not the worst of all time IMO.
Am i the only one who thought Rekes dunk was better than Blakes.
I guess so cos the media seems to think Blake just did the dunk of the century.
When twitter was blowing up last night i thought wow, this dunk must be from the free throw line or something.
It was just put down with extreme velocity in perkins face. If thats the greatest dunk of all time, according to Chris Broussard, well, maybe I'm out of touch.
he absorbed the full force of a hit by Kendrick Perkins (!) and was still able, with his head at rim level (!!), to fully extend himself and throw it down. there are very, very few dunks anywhere near the stratosphere of that. full thanks to Griffin for that, also because it made the people in my timeline mention every single one of those and gave me the opportunity to check them out. I had not, for instance, ever seen this one:
I don't know, that dunk where Lebron literally jumped over a guy for the oop was more impressive IMO

i just wanna point out that i think its rad that there are three teams in the nba right now who are excelling without superstars: denver (14-7), philadelphia (16-6), indiana (15-6), and atlanta (16-6). i have no idea how long their respective runs will last this season, but to see how well these teams are doing, while a team like new york (8-13) flounders, is wonderfully poetic justice in the name of team basketball...
