So they traded for Wood only to play him off the bench behind a guy in his mid-30s?
Starting him yes for the first 5 mins or so for a couple or alleys and blocks and than bringing in Wood for when Luka that's a break, it's a smart strat imo. Wood will be playing way more I think in terms of playing time plus you could play him and Kleber at the PF spot. The darkhorse is Dwight Powell who is still undefeated at retaining his spot despite being horrible so JaVale or Wood might be in big trouble.

Also, the haul that Utah got for Gobert suggests that the only team that has enough picks to offer to bring back Durant in a trade might be... the Thunder?

Now that would be hilarious if OKC actually does it. Could KD manage to completely blow up and then adandon 2 teams in less than 5 years?

Might as well get Paolo’s measurements for his hall of fame bust while he’s still in Vegas. Dude’s apparently not just a future all-star, he’s Giannis, Luka, KD, AND Lebron combined with a fadeaway shot that would make Kobe proud!

The weird thing is that it was so much less complicated during warmups. He took his left hand off completely, and shot the one-handed righty shot. But in the game for some reason when he took his left hand off the ball he started making some bizarre movement with it while shooting the one hander, it was really tough to figure out what he was doing. I don't blame our fan at all, I was doing the same thing.

Seattle becoming a relocation threat for OKC is not a twist I saw coming.

Possible they leave. The article said that it can take up to 10 years after approval. The contract runs out after 3. Unless they can get some private funding I don’t see them getting the opportunities from the league that Sacramento had to keep them around.

Las Vegas would likely skip ahead of Seattle. They already have an NBA ready new arena….but Clay Bennett is from OKC and it wasn’t the top possible destination when he took them there before, so maybe that’s just where he wants the team.

Lol

Not only do you give us the guy we’ve been interested in for over a year, but Myles Turner too!

Does this imply that:
A) The Pacers actually made an offer to the Lakers that would send Hield and Turner, and
B) That offer did NOT include future draft compensation?

So does that mean the Pacers really dropped the "Sure, for LeBron!" offer? Epic.
