Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (lumbar management), will miss his first game of the season tonight vs. the Lakers (ESPN, 10 ET), but there’s optimism he could be back vs. Utah on Friday, sources tell ESPN.

I seemed to be one of the few that actually took Simmons at his word that he had issues. Until he shows he's been able to work through whatever they are and shows he's getting back to his old "normal" I wouldn't consider taking on that contract for the shell of what he used to be.Isn't it nice that we didn't trade for him.
