I'm not sure if someone already mentioned "Million dolar baby"...I just watched it and I started to cry.Omg,I still can't believe how said that movie is.I really can't remember the last time I was crying...Everyone should watch it,but be prepared...

And now some better themes,I also watched "Juwana Man" and "White man can't jump" this days and I like it.
Also,I need to watch Green mile(I got it today),cuz' I heard a lot of good things about that movie...

We started to watch 7 Seconds the other night.

I wouldn't waste even 2 seconds(although we watched about 1/2 hour hoping it would get better).

Poor character development, poor plot line. poor acting.

I finally, FINALLY saw Batman Begins last night. I've been wanting to see it since opening day, but haven't had the time.

I still like the Tim Burton films the best, but this one was just a big ol' pile of awesome.

Next in line: Fantastic 4, The Island, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.

Oh yeah, and the Sin City DVD comes out on August 16, so I'll be at Best Buy that day.

Don't waste your money, you'll just encourage the studios to make more tripe like that content in their ability to use advertising hype to make a profit even as the movie itslef loses 75% of its audience by the second week. You can wait till it hits cable, trust me.

Spiderman 2 and Batman Begins I think have now ascended to the absolute royalty of the comic book adpatations. Went beyond their genre and were just flat out excellent movies regardless of their topic.

Believe me, Fantastic 4 is NOT my choice. The only reason I'm seeing it is because I dragged someone to see The Chronicles of Riddick (a truly low point, I know, but one that proved to be essential in finally curing my ridiculous and embarrassing obssesion with Vin Diesel) and I'm still making up for it.

Yes. These are, by far, the best of the comic book superhero adaptations (I like the Burton films more, but these two are clearly the better films). As far as comic book adaptations go, however, I just might give the nod to Sin City. You'll never get anything that close to a living comic book again unless Rodriguez decides to do a sequel.

A sequel has already been planned and is supposed to start shooting early next year. Rodriguez is under contract to direct it. "A Dame to Kill For" will be one of the novels the movie is based on. Beyond that, there were only two more full-length novels and a a fair amount of short stories. So it'll be interesting to see if they stick with the three-novel concept again or mix things up.

It certainly did respectable business (around $75 mil U.S. and another $30-35 mil overseas), and DVD sales will make the movie profitable. But it didn't do the kind of slam-dunk business where a sequel would seem inevitable. and it seems to appeal to an 11yr old boy...one of my sons keeps wanting to go see it. So far, we've managed to avoid it.

I enjoyed it, somewhat. I am a HUGE Johnny Depp fan, and I thought he would have been more creative with his role. (could have been the voice he used that I didn't like much) Anyways, I'll be buying it once it comes out on DVD.

I actually expected more from this movie. I did enjoy Johnny Depps willie wonka job but other than that was just let down to be honest. I did see 'amores perros' (really for like the 3rd time) its one of my favorite movies and i highly recommend it to anyone open to foreign films. this movie is a great piece of work. highly recommended

i just finished watching "hotel rawanda" that was an outstanding film. very sad, i was crying my eyes out, but it was very well made. it's shocking what people have to live with in other parts of the world

i also saw a french film called " happenstance" with audrey tautou ( amelie) it was cute, had all kinds of characters that come together in the end, similar to " love actually" i enjoyed it.

I just saw The Devils Rejects.

I expected a scary movie, but I got one of the funniest films I;ve seen in quite some time.

That being said, it's still gruesome, disturbing, should be rated NC-17, and only people who appreciate dark satire should ever watch this movie.

But a big plus for this movie was how well the actors played off their characters. Otis is such a jerk, you can't help but love him, Baby is like Jessica Simpson, she's quirky, goofy, and just an enjoyable character (definatly my favorite), again, you just can't help but love her, and Spaulding...Is just undescribable...And despite the fact they are cold-blooded killers, you just get to know there characters, and quite frankly, they were the heros of this movie.

Jasna I saw 'Requim for a dream' several years ago and it is a great movie. got to be in my top 15 for sure. great directing but true very disturbing. i thought jennifer connely and Jared Leto were superb in this. sad how it brings up valid points in todays society. great movie though. really enjoyed it.

Other than his great ability to make his films cheaply, I respect the fact that he can get away with making films that are polar to what he's done previously. I was watching a dub of Spy Kids 3 being made at work and couldn't believe this was made by the guy who made such a brutal film like Sin City. And then turn right around and make another kids movie. Not too many filmmakers can get away with that. The other directors that quickly come to mind who can are George Miller (from the Mad Max movies, and I'm thinking specifically The Road Warrior, to the two Babe movies), Sam Raimi (from his earlier horror movies to that Kevin Costner baseball drama/romance to his now standard action fare), and I guess Spielberg (from the opening battle of Saving Private Ryan to nearly everything else he's done).

house of a thousand corpses was the most brutal movie i ever seen... im pretty sure the devils rejects is the same as uve stated.

anyone here seen wedding crashers? that movie is funny as hell... thats a must see, IMO.

If you enjoyed "requiem for a dream", you've got to check out a movie called "spun". Based along the same lines, but this movie gives and insight to a week on speed. Excellent cast; Jason Schwartzman, Menu Suvari, Brittney Murphy, The Cook. Check it out, one of the best indie films I've ever seen.

Clock work Orange is an awsome film based on an awsome book. Easily in the top 10 Sci-Fi films ever made probably a top 5.

you want disturbing, check out "8mm", with nicolas cage. just plain disturbing.

Well, there are many disturbing movies out there, aside from the ones mentioned here.
Irréversible, Baise Moi, The Cook the Thief the Wife and his Lover, Audition, Visitor Q, Happiness...and many, many more.

Some scenes are truly sickening.

Don't feel so compelled to answer the question "which is the most disturbing one?".
