Most suitable SF the Kings could actually afford?

Assuming they can't afford superstars and that they are willing to trade MT and some other lesser pieces for a solid SF, who is the best candidate? Searching basketball-reference.com for a not-too-old defensive SF who can hit threes, the list, according to this criteria, is as follows (starting with most suitable):

1. Andre Iguodala, 28 PHI
2. Luol Deng, 26 CHI
3. Paul George, 21 IND
4. Danny Granger, 28 IND
5. Kyle Korver, 30 CHI
6. Marvin Williams, 25 ATL
7. Danny Green, 24 SAS
8. Chris Singleton, 22 WAS
9. Nicolas Batum, 23 POR
10. Jared Dudley, 26 PHO
11. Chase Budinger, 23 HOU
12. Gordon Hayward, 21 UTA
13. Linas Kleiza, 27 TOR
14. Steve Novak, 28 NYK
15. Dorell Wright, 26 GSW
16. Brandon Rush, 26 GSW

Any names that weren't discussed so far and should be?
 
I would make a move for Singleton. Him and Vesely both played around 20 mpg last year and now with Ariza there's room for only one backup with solid minutes, that would be Vesely since he's the high pick with the high potential. Don't know what Washington would want from us though, surely MT is too much to give up for an unproven guy like Singleton.
 
Here's an interesting article about Singleton. Sounds like it should be easy to get him in a trade. I wouldn't be surprised if Washington would settle for Jimmer without any other pieces. They're high on shooting-guards, and they still need someone to fill in for Beal when he's on the bench. Both were drafted last year, with Jimmer being the higher pick and the one that produced slightly more. I think it's an easy trade for both teams, improving them in the right positions.

Kirilenko is coming back.
 
Kirilenko will be 32 next season. By the time this team can make a serious run in the playoffs he'll be too old to produce. If you're shooting for a borderline-star SF, Deng and Iguodala are 3-5 years younger and are a safer long term investment.
 
Well out of the list, of course I'd love to have Iggy, Deng, George and Granger. However, those guys are going to be almost impossible to acquire. Batum of course is attainable but our FO makes it hard to imagine us getting him. I'm personally a fan of Danny Green.

Kirilenko is a unique force. And unlike most of those players could conceivably be added to the team wihtout us haivng to give up talent to get him.
 
I see your point, but we would have to give up money, which is something that the owners of this team are reluctant to do.

BTW, among this group of 16 players, Singleton ranks #2 in steals and #4 in blocks (both per minute). Wouldn't you give up the talent of Jimmer for that?
 
Fields shot horribly this year, from all ranges, and wasn't as effective defensively as most of the other players on the list. We might as well keep Donte.
 
What was AK47's old Jazz contract paying him per year? What is a fair contract for AK? What is/was he making in Russia?

Hope that Outlaw is really better than last season and it was the lockout and hand that caused him to suck.

wonder if GS would be up for a Hayes, Salmons for Wright and Beadrins? or just wright for 1 of them?

I will let you read my thread on him to rebuttle this statement, but I can address your list when it comes to defense. I'm surprised you think most of the players on your list are better defenders than Fields. Out of your list, these are the players I think Fields is better than defensively.

You listed 16 total. This is 10 of them. I think Dudley and Fields have similar talent at defense, but other than that I think he is better defensively than all of these players. He is definitely no slouch on D.

I was under the impression AK would be on his way to the Nets, seems that talk has gone quiet, now they're looking to trade for Joe Johnson.
 
Danny Green is probably our best bet here, as he has just the right combination of attainability and production. He is a good defender, shoots very well from outside, and likely wouldn't cost too much to acquire.

It is also worth mentioning that he has been extremely well coached throughout his career: first by Roy Williams at North Carolina and then by Greg Popovich in San Antonio. Having players with a high basketball IQ like Green will really go a long way towards fixing the dysfunctionality of this team.

Number one, he's not worth it, and Gerald Wallace just agreed to 10 mil a year. I also think age has to factor in. Your not going to pay a Ray Allen today what your would have paid him 5 or 6 year ago.
 
The biggest AK47 detractors seem to mention his age and potential athleticism decline. This doesn't concern me for two reasons.

1) I don't think he has declined in those areas anyway. I saw him play 2 times, if not more over the past year. He truly looked like the same player.

2) Even if he has had some decline, or will decline over the course of his next deal, remember that he is already oversized and super long for a SF. He doesnt rely solely on his athleticism. It's part of his game, but he is physically gifted in terms of his height and reach.

Danny Green is another tweener. A player that can play better at SG, but is just tall enough to play SF. If thats the direction I'm going, I'd just rather go after T. Williams. Another 6'6" SG/SF.
 
Do we really want to pay a $10 mil plus salary for a guy who is going to be 32? If we're going to pay that much we need to offer it someone like Batum, who can grow with the team.

AK won't be THAT expensive. Less than those guys. I'd say 8-9 million for 3 years would be fair.

My mention of Kirilenko's age wasn't meant as an indication of decline. It was mean't as a measuring stick against others that are younger. I like Kirilenko, but when it comes to forking out the money, I'm going to be more willing to pay a 27 year old SF top dollar at four years than I'am a 32 year old SF of equal skills. So my comments were about money and not skill level. A 27 year old player is in his prime. A 32 year old player is on the downside of his career. Which always makes the last couple of years of a 4 year contract a little risky.

So I say go get him if you can. He would be a terrific addition. But don't overpay!
