Monte Ellis traded

Yeah, just posted about this in another thread. Udoh and Kwame to the Bucks as well. Should make tonights game a little easier on us, with no Ellis, Udoh.

Weird trade. I don't love it for GSW, but I could see it working out for them (addition by subtraction).

Next year, Curry-Thompson-Wright-Lee-Bogut could be very interesting. That's 3 .400 3p% shooters in your starting lineup with two very big bigs who can score and rebound. Bogut is also a pretty good defender.

I do think they gave up a bit to much, because Udoh has been playing much better lately ... but that doesn't mean I don't like what they could be.

And for the Bucks .. I like a scorer like Ellis on that team, but Ellis and Jennings? that's a worse pairing than Ellis/Curry. On the flip side, Udoh/Gooden/Ilyasova ain't bad. Plus they dumped Sjax.

I don't know, I'm glad something happened though. The deadline is awesome.

The bucks were on the brink of moving Jennings according to Amick but the deal collapsed.

that will be an interesting backcourt lol.

I'm just glad the first "deadline deal" happened. It usually sets things in motion. That being said, I'd be surprised if we were involved in anything.

Stupid trade byt the Warriors, but hey, Stephen Jackson is on one of my fantasy teams and now finally gets let out of jail, so go for it dudes!

what the hell?? ellis and jennings on the same team?! yeah, THAT's gonna work out...

and bogut to the warriors? i love me some andrew bogut when he's healthy, but with stephen "broke ankles" curry already on their roster, they just became the glass men of the nba...

Stephen Jackson and gets let out of jail almost sound too much like a reality than a metaphoric remark.

Makes sense from the Warriors' perspective. They should be better. West is starting to influence things over there. I don't get it from the Bucks side, unless Jennings is going to be traded. If he isn't traded then the Bucks are following the GS footsteps of two small guards in the backcourt.

Bogut being roughly the most overrated and injruy prone player in the league makes it a good move alone for the Bucks. They finally get the ability to score in double figures, and can try to ship Jennings out now and still have thier chucker guard box checked.

Another reason West made the move was to get more ping pong balls in this year's draft. He loses more this year, gets worse, and gets more of an impact player in the draft.
