What the BLEEP is going on here!

::shakes fist a sky::

I can't believe this. What god awful act did we commit that we have to suffer such misfortunes every single bleeping year one after another? WHY? What is our curse, because no logic can possible explain all of this.

You should have known better than just showing up at this board unprepared during the off days. ;)

atleast Tag will get some game time in. Just doesn't give us much time before the playoffs to play as a group.

Can we throw BJax and Miller in the flow game one of the 1st round????
You are probably VERY close to the truth here. Adelman has shown very little faith in Tag since he returnd from breaking his hand falling donw (I see some kind of red neck pattern here) but RA has had the luxury of backing Miller up with decent little guys. Then when Miller went out he gave thedecent little guys pt and left Tag on the fringes quite possible with the idea that wiht Brad comming back soon he wnated them sharp as his back up. Now that Miller is out for most of not all of the regualr season I ssupect Adelman will feel forced to play Tag in part to get any kind of match up against the big centers in the NBA, and to get him (Tag) sharp for more use as a back up. Icould be worng and RA may contenue to play small ball the rest of the season leaving a proven 7 foot center to languish on the bench, but some how I doubt it. For better or worse I sugest Houston prepair for...............the Return of the Tag.

Hmmm....I'm kinda starting to believe in the rumor that Arco was built on an indian burial ground and we're just cursed. Hey, this is a yearly thing for us. Probably wouldnt hurt , at this point, to ask..."Whats next??" *sigh*

There are two rules you must learn to follow:

1. NEVER challenge "worst" - as in "That's the WORST thing that could happen."

2. NEVER ask "What's next?" because more likely than not, if you do, you won't like the answer.

...

Just two of VF21's Rule of Life that I've accumulated over the years.

wow. just what we need. oh god.

when i heard on nbatv "let's see who's out for the sacramento kings," i thought they were gonna say brad was gonna be out 1 game against the rockets. so i was like oh that sucks! we need him vs yao tomorrow. but then they said atleast a month! i was like, WOW.

oh well. let's see how far mike can take us, how long skinner can keep up the good work, and if peja steps up (so far, no sign of that yet :( )

go kings

You know, as much as we're in shock, denial, bemusement, etc. can you even begin to imagine what happened when the word got to Petrie and the Maloofs?

Or, even closer to the scene, what about Adelman? And the rest of the players? We may feel like cursing the heavens but I can't and won't even begin to imagine the language flying around the practice facility earlier today...

I sure wouldn't want to be Mrs. Adelman or Mrs. Petrie tonight.

uhm. god, take my leg instead. pls make brad's leg miraculously heal and then you can take mine. please?

Be careful what you wish for. If Brad wakes up tomorrow with a much shorter, female leg he's not gonna be happy.

;)

this sucks,... i saw just the out 4-6 weeks part from ESPN bottom line. I missed who got hurt. For some reason, I was almost 95% sure that it was someone from the kings... dont know why? any guesses?

This is a huge injury. Miller is such a good passer and spaces the floor out with his shooting. The Kings may be able to squeak out games playing at arco, but i don't they can be a very good road team without Brad. Just look what happened on our last road trip.

should i give both just to match the length of his leg? ;)

In all fairness, the last road trip was the Road Trip from Hell. Al least the next time the "new guys" won't be totally unfamiliar with the playbook.

Now there's a fan for you. :)

I, on the other hand, would cheerfully harvest the entire team's body parts just to keep me running smoothly. Not that I would want any of their decrepit injury-prone limbs anyway. ;)

Should this injury affect his play after like the Chris Webber injury affected him, like will we see the old B52 again?

Just a broken leg -- non-displaced, so chances are he should be able to retuirn to pretty much his former level. Just unfortunately maybe not this year.

eh...brad knows his limits. he wont be attempting to step into some sort of leadership role, or command the ball moreso than normal. he will, of course, be quite rusty when and if he does come back, but i dont think it will affect the team dynamic the way webber did when he returned.

Yes, and it is not even the main leg bone, but the smaller bone in the leg.
