Miller out 4-6 weeks with a broken leg

atleast Tag will get some game time in. Just doesn't give us much time before the playoffs to play as a group.

Can we throw BJax and Miller in the flow game one of the 1st round????

CHILL! we are doing pretty good without brad. 3 game winning streak. all this means is skinner gonna see more playing time. i hope brad heals fast but its not as big as you guys are making it out to be. he is a essential player in our offense but we can win with the ones we have on the bench. aslong as hes back b4 playoffs its not that big of a loss. now is when corliss, evans, thomas and skinner show how much they really got. maybe that peja guy we had last year will show up for a couple games. i hope the rest of the squad can stay healthy.

If he is out 4-6 weeks, can we say he is out for season? even if it heals in 4-6 weeks no way he is ready to play full force in the playoffs.

Poor brad. Who tried to bring a goat to Arco and security refused to let the goat in :(

There must be some kind of curse going on here.

You know, I really am starting to question the King's training staff. This is getting to be more than freak accident. This happens every year! Every new guy we have, ends up on the injure list. I mean, do they stretch? or do some kinda training to help prevent injuries at all?

Every year I begin to believe more and more in the curse of the Sacramento Kings.

From ricky berry to bobby hurley

picking pervis ellison with the #1 pick to hiring dick motta as a coach

horry's shot to chris webbers knee

a serious injury every single year almost.

Sometimes I feel like a Cubs fan!

If I were a free agent I would not consider signing with Kings unless there is no other option because it is almost certain that I would be injured at some point while being a King.

It is BIG for us not to have Brad available. There's absolutely no need for the "CHILL" stuff. Skinner has been doing a great job, but he's not Brad Miller and he doesn't have the experience Brad has on this team in playoff situations.

And for God's sake, will people QUIT making "i hope the rest of the squad can stay healthy" comments????

I cannot believe that people still think you can blame the training staff for injuries.

Stuff happens. And sometimes the worst stuff happens at the worst possible time. That's called Murphy's Law. It's not called "Trainer's Law"...and for good reason.

Do they stretch? I don't think stretching prevents broken bones.

If you want to question the training staff, feel free. While you're at it, question the guys who refill the toilet paper holders in the bathroom because they're just as responsible as the trainers.

yeah, missing Brad for 4-6 weeks is huge, no matter how you look at it. We are good at pitching in and getting through injuries, but 4-6 weeks is a lot different than a couple of games here or there. GET WELL BRAD -- WE NEED YOU!!

It's you non-believers that are causing the problems. You don't think there's a jinx so you go ahead and say something stupid and then when the worst DOES happen, you act like it's not your fault.

Boooooooooooooooooooooooo.

It is obviously Finley's fault. Damn him

It's probably a karmic balancing. Being blessed with the off-worldly powers of Geoff Petrie as GM, the universe demands a balance of some sort; hence the perpetual injuries :D

Seriously, this is beyond funny. This team has never been completely healthy since i've been a fan, and it will be even scarier if Webb DOESN'T have any problems with his knee outside of Sacramento.

piksi - FINLEY?!?!?!?!? Exactly!

Geoff - The karma balance concept is intriguing. Keep it in the back of your mind so we have something to talk about during TDOS (the dreaded off-season).

:D

I just hope these guys can regroup before the playoffs and make a good run. I think skinner will fit in just fine but Peja really needs to start playing more efficiently. Skinner Vs Yao  I hope adelman goes to tag early if skinner is getting worked. Have faith people

goodbye to hopes of having any HCA in the playoffs. light shooting drills then all of a sudden he breaks his fibula(or whatever!)? how light can that shooting drill be? with people tackling him from all sides?

:sigh: :shakes head: :sigh:

OMG I was having a good day and now I read this. :( How depressing. 4-6 weeks is a long time to not have Brad. I miss him.

:sigh:

Anyhow, despite the injuries, misfortune, and all... GO KINGS !!!
