Um, no - not exactly. The LA fans that post on this board are a pretty classy lot, and I would hope fans of other teams can follow their example.

Trash talk isn't allowed, regardless of what team you're talking about.

Oh, well I don't know that I only usually post in the kings forum(till the Artest trade posts got moved here). Anyways, I still know they will try to say Kobe is better and this game proves he is not.

Say what now?

This game is proof that McGrady is better? This game? This one game?

I mean, I'm about as far from a Kobe Bryant apologist as you'll find on this board... but one game is empirical evidence that one player is better than another? One game? One ****ing game?

By that rationale, Scott Skiles proved on December 30, 1990 that he was the greatest point guard of all time...

Okay not just THIS game, but Mcgrady is better. TMac has had a ton of clutch moments this season to lift his team to victory, the rockets without HALF their roster beat a fully healthy laker roster. Don't you think TMac is better?

Whoa. Great example of the errors of using "if p, then q" analogies.

Half-credit to Skiles for every single Reynolds point... and the whole rest of his team for that matter. Was there a basket he wasn't involved in?

T-Mac is definetly one of the leagues finest. The guy has lots of talent and drive. He is a fierce competitor. Props to him for coming through for his team when they needed it.

No one ever mentions that Skiles got those 30 assists against a team that gave up 140 pts night after night (Westhead's Loyola Marymount No Defense gameplan working).

Game winner for McGrady. I'm not going to take away from what he did like some other posters I know.

One little note. Didn't the defense the lakers played on that last play look very "Kings-esque"??? :D
I was thinking about it in the pisser yesterday at work that Peja could've won that game in the same way. Swear. The things you think about while urinating. ;)

Here's a film entitled, "Kobe is not clutch". This is proof that McGrady is more clutch than him. These are all the clutch shots of Kobe's that I can find. It's 8 mins long.

avi format, DivX codec probably necessary

I still think Mcgrady is more clutch, but I don't know how to make videos and find clips. Oh well. I have my opinion and you have yours.

Well...I really can't. It's not my fault his teams always screw up when they have a 2-0 etc. lead. Hope houston can break through the first round this time.
It wasn't Kobe's fault that McGrady got a free path to the rim, but he's a part of the losing team and gets part of the blame. Same goes for McGrady, esp in the playoffs where stars are expected to carry their teams.

if the team fails, its leader fails first.

If you've ever been a leader, you would know that when his/her team fails, he/she is always responsible for it the MOST, no matter if he/she does everything right and his/her team mates do everything wrong. point blank. no questions asked.

by the way, i'm a laker's fan, a new one not die hard.

Well, after kobe scores 62 tonight anyways I'm just gonna call it equal(TMac scored 62 before too). Yeah it's mcgrady's fault, but he never had another leader to help him out.

Anyways TMac YOU BETTER go out and score 60 your next game to make me look good...

there can be only one leader in a group (although can have multiple captains to provide different persona/aspects).

Tmac scored 62 against the Wiz, one of the worst team that season, and it occured at the end of that season, when making the playoff didn't matter for the Wiz any more, and tanking the season to get top draft mattered to them. this is the new and improved-d Mavs.

LOL are you serious. This the secound time in Kobe's career he scored over 55 points in just 3 quarters. TMAC is not even close to the level Kobe gets reaches when he is that pissed off and focused. He just is able to reach the next level and I can think of only a couple of people in the history of basketball able to kick it to that level.

What man is kobe like your favorite player? I already gave him his props, jeez. TMac's 62 point game he had like 10 boards and five assists. I already gave Kobe his props, okay? YOUR BOY got his props. Besides that, I get bashed for saying last time TMac's game winning layup is proof he's atleast as good as/or better than Kobe but you're saying this ONE game is proof kobe's at a whole other level than TMac? Not like TMac hasn't scored 62 before anyways.

No I am saying that he is proven to be more clutch and better player than TMac through out his career.

BTW Kobe is my favorite player in the NBA.
