They don't talk Kings much (though I found the tidbit about Chris Webber's shooting coach interesting) but I liked hearing from him what he brings to a team. I think (at the very least on the court) Cousins will love having him on the team.

He's pretty blunt and honest in an age where most athletes always give canned responses. Boogie will respect him, also good to hear A) he is respected by teammates (even if he is hated by opponents) B) He is always a leader of the lockeroom, something this team severely lacks.

Boogie loves Matt Barnes both on and off the court. He has wanted him on his team for years now. I am not worried about Matt Barnes. He will be a very good signing for us.

I honestly could see him starting at the 4 if Joerger doesn't see WCS ready to play big minutes or for floor spacing and Barnes being a better team defender atm.

Hopefully playing back in his hometown will lead to a good statistical year. I'm not expecting, but maybe he can perform at an even higher rate. Good to have a tough no BS player on the team, it's exactly what we need.
