on a non-basketball note, I recently saw this year's SI swimsuit issue, and I was very happy to see my favorite supermodel, Marisa Miller, posing in a painted Sacramento Kings jersey

I would have to agree -- I think we really need more shots and from more angles to check every square inch of her for possible Kings insignia.

As an aside -- how does one get a job as a body painter anyway?

I actually looked into this -- well, a similar career -- when I learned that there was someone who had the specific job of covering Angelina Jolie's tattoos for the film Original Sin. There is, unfortunately, quite a bit of school and credentials required for such a job.

Also, I couldn't find anything to back this up, but I'm sure that there would be people screening the artists to make sure that there wasn't an inapproprite amount of drooling/leering/creepy laughter.

I don't know about you (though I've got my suspiscions) but that would certainly rule me out.

the one i posted is not the Kings uni pic, it's just another Marisa Miller body paint photo... unfortunately, couldn't find the one in the SI issue on the web.

Fortunately, shadowlude posted a nice link to another picture of her in the painted-on kings uniform.

As an aside there aresome incredebly tallented body painters out there. Best examples of their work can usualy bee seen in NewOrlens during Mardi Gras.
