Yeah, no. Kawhi was being guarded by HB all night. Meanwhile Kawhi and PG were taking turns trying to stop Swipa after halftime.Kawhi right there, if not better. Just hasn't shot as much.

Was Keon inactive tonight?
Davion getting the garbage time minutes too
Their big issue is their depth chart now though. Having to play PG and Kawhi and Harden all 38+ minutes to beat an exhausted Kings team on the second night of a back-to-back because your only backup forward is PJ Tucker is less than ideal and if any one of those guys goes down, they're kinda screwed until he gets back to full health without anyone else getting hurt.If the Clippers stay healthy they could very well do some serious damage come playoff time. That's a lot of options to deal with and they're going to control the clock.
I'm not seeing the issue. I absolutely hated the decision when it happened and I still do. I wasn't a fan of the approach of the FO to just let the current squad "mature" and settle in when we know that Monk is up for a new contract and that Kevin is streaky af so having another wing that can step in as a legit #3 star is the difference between a deep playoff run and another first round exit. Keegan isn't there yet. You've only posted four times since the summer and every single post is some variation of "HB sux"

They need everyone to stay healthy for the playoffs but the sheer effort of staying in the playoff race this season might make that impossible for them.
Sasha needs to run more DHO with Domas to get more opportunities to shoot, instead of opting for a spot-up shooting.
Fox is taking too much on his shoulder, just trust his colleagues.. dish the ball! It just drains any offensive juice flow that is left after Domas failure.

Nope, you're wrong. You only show up to Domas threads "How many jumpers did he shoot?!?!?!?" And complain he didn't shoot enough, even when he rips a 30-14-8 game. Domas was the literal engine of the best ORtg team of all-time and you have the audacity to say he's a match-up problem for us and not the other team.
You quoting individual +/- in a single game shows how little you're actually bringing to this conversation. Fox is -17 this game. That mean he's playing poorly? It's a worthless stat.
He of course has poor games. He's not Jokic, but he's like 85% of the way there and he's one of the best players the Kings have ever had. Fox is our ceiling case to get to a title, but we don't have anything close to a floor without Domas.

I think Brown might be putting more of that DHO in for him after tonight. I thought it was interesting that Brown played Sasha with the starters down the stretch. He was giving it a good look.
We agree on points 1-4.-Sasha needs more minutes
-We REALLY miss Keegan's defense. Team is falling apart without him out there.
-Duarte is too volatile to be a starter. Can't have these sort of games where he's just unplayable and getting the first assignments.
-We have a real HB on defense problem. Lateral quickness is just absolutely shot at this point. He can't stay in front of pinecone at this point, much less handling the elite wing assignments. Think you have to look at making a change and bringing him off the bench vs second units and give him more of an offensive workload there without getting smoked by starting caliber wings.
-One of the worst Domas games in a Kings uniform. Don't remember a time he was this bad around the rim. To be fair, Zubac is an elite elite defender, but still. With Keegs out and the shooting struggling, we needed him to show up and support Fox in this one. Wasn't there.
Dude I was literally sitting next to an NBA person as I typed what I was typing. So I will let him know you think he doesn’t know crap about basketball. Maybe you should apply for an NBA front office job?
Can anyone defend the rational of signing the utter non-factor that is Harrison Barnes?
It was more about cap flexibility to re-sign Monk and also go after someone this upcoming offseason rather then tie up funds preventing that option.Great, who are you signing?
Last year the Kings were fortunate to play Clippers with one of their stars out. This year, not so much. They even have Zubac back.
This isn't the NFL. Cap space doesn't just roll over into the next off-season.It was more about cap flexibility to re-sign Monk and also go after someone this upcoming offseason rather then tie up funds preventing that option.
FTR?Among regular rotation players he has the third best FTr (behind Fox/Domas) despite having an extremely low usage rate (only marginally higher than Duarte's usage).
If this is the same guy who's provided some of those other bad takes in the past, maybe he doesn't know crap about basketball.
