Hall of Famer
Suns did the Kings a huge favor missing so many open three pointers but you take the wins anyway you can in the West. the dreaded back to back tomorrow night

Keep beating those sub/elite teams while we figure out the really good ones. Wins like this are huge.

Now onto the TWolves to hopefully make us forget about the Celtics debacle. 2-1 in this threefer would be golden.
You know the kings are 4-0 against the top 3 teams in the West, right? And the "Celtics debacle" only counts as one loss.

Are the Kings the best team in the league? No, but it's a bit much suggesting they haven't beaten really good teams or are feasting on "sub/elite" teams.

.......This Suns/Kings game defensively was the mirror opposite of the Celts/Kings with the Suns mailing it in on defense much like the Kings did on Wednesdauy vs Celtics. Wasn't that impressed with the Kings defense vs Suns - maybe marginally better from Celtics. Outside of Booker/Durant, Suns had a very poor shooting night - Gordon with 0 pts (averaging 13), and the reason for the disparity. Offensively, probably the Kings starting teams' best collective shooting night of the the season - 32 team assists. They got up big in the 3rd quarter and didn't know what to do it seemed like. On offense its important the team doesn't get into the Sabonis/Fox isolation games, getting Hurter, Barnes more involved in scoring - especially Barnes.

Yeh the Suns shot poorly especially their bench (0-11) from 3 but the only kings that shot well from 3 were Keegan, Barnes and Sasha (1-1). We were only 31 percent as a team and that usually means loss. Suns also had 15 offensive rebounds which kept them from emptying the bench even earlier.
