Look at the Positives of Kings vs Bulls game...................AGAIN

Bballkingsrock

All-Star
Alright, I don't like doing this but we need to look positive.....again. The refs still won't get get the correct call once again. Haven't they learned.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! ( Now to get to the positive side)

1) Peja is at home resting. Should be fine after the All-Star break.

2) All-Star break is coming soon. Te Kings can have chance to regroup the team and forget about all the bad calls in the past.

3) Nobody got injured.

4) Bench played great. Including Songiala, House, and Barnes.

::sigh::

-we get to play tomorrow...to possibly redeem ourselves with a nice good solid win before the all star break

and......

nothing....

5 Positive Things Kings Fans can take from this game:

1. Uh...Err...

2. Hmmm....

3. Ummm...Hmmm...

4. (Whistling to myself)

5. Uh...Oh, yeah...GO KINGS!! YEEEAAAAAHHHHH!

I just hope the refs get it all out of their system before the playoffs.

We have a chance to analyze intensely game footage of how NOT to finish a game and perhaps will learn from it? ;)

It just so happens that there is a library full of it this season. ;)

Kings were actually pretty strong on the boards during this game. Bulls outrebounded them by 11, but The Kings shot 21 more shots than the Bulls.

1. we get to play the nets 2morrow who are fresh off a loss to minny (i dont know if thats a good or bad thing)

Here are some positives

Barnes 24 min and 0 PTS
Out rebounded 43/32
FTM 23 vs the Bulls 35
3 pt shots 5 for 15 vs 2 for 9

the rest of the stats are basically the same give or take a number. We have some serious weakness's / trends showing the past week or so.

My positive:

*The Kings were down by 9 at halftime. I'm happy they came back in the game and had a chance to win.

*Kevin Martin played! :)

Okay, bright side...

- Bibby's block was monstrous. We didn't get to see them win, but that sure got me off my seat and reminded me how much I love this team.

- We're still 14 games above .500.

- We still have plenty of time to right the ship (some bad habits will need to change, of course, but it's way too early to call it a season).

- Everyone left the court in a timely manner and no punches were thrown.

- Miller and Bibby fans -- whether you like 'em with or without headbands, you go to see both tonight.

- Call me the blind optimist, but I really, honestly, sincerely believe that the team is just a few days (of rest) away from going off on anyone and everyone that happens to get in their way.

Now, let's win tomorrow and then take a few days to rest and refocus.

thanks GGG those postives really made me feel better....when you lose 5 out of your last 6 games you tend to forget "hey we are still 14 games over .500)...and that Mike & Brad headband positive really made me feel better....lol

how about the free throw attempts, something like 41 to 20.
Also, Adelman is still coaching....for another season.
Also, the fact that the lesser teams figured out that our interior defense absolutely sucks.

When you lose 5 of 6, finding positives doesn't accomplish a thing for fans. This is a team sport and the team is losing. The fact they lost 4 really close games and that refs decided 3 of them only means the kings are not playing well enough as a team not to get into that position at the end of games. Another clue as to kings problems is their inside game and lack thereof.

The Chicago game announcer I heard on ESPN satellite radio said at the end of the first quarter "I don't think I've ever watched an NBA game in which there was not one pass down inside for an entire quarter. You can't win games on only jump shots"

Then later on back to the same thing, a jump shooting contest with webber going 1 for 9 in the first half, all jump shots. He did better in 2nd but still most all jump shots. If you don't go to the basket you don't get fouls and don't get free throws. As one of the best FT teams (but here also going down hill too) it is opportunities missed to score points.

I"ll take exceptions to BBallkingsrock list of "good" things:
1) Peja is at home resting. ......ie hurt, not playing not scoring. future play, who knows

2) All-Star break is coming soon. Te Kings can have chance to regroup the team and forget about all the bad calls in the past.......... most all star breaks don't players mostly head out in every direction on their own for a short vacation?

3) Nobody got injured........... sometimes when one did the bench stepped up and we won some games: Songalia for CWebb last year, Evans this year, etc.

4) Bench played great. Including Songiala, House, and Barnes........ in the last few games Barnes has disappeared from the stat sheet, no points in 23 minutes, 1 rebound, another time 31 minutes and 4-6 points. SF are to score. I like Barnes but his game is suffering and he is not helping right now. House is a bit like BJax but again a shooter not a playmaker or scorer.

Guess we have tobe patient and wait and see...........
