Lakers plan to play Boozer at SF

In my vast collection of things I couldn't possibly care less about, this one is pretty close to the top of the list. :p

Maybe they want to try playing 2 power forwards together and make the opponent match up to their strengths. You don't have to call Boozer a "3", just because another power forward is playing with him. It's 2 power forwards playing together

I'm not sure I would characterize anything on that roster as "strength". They're over the salary cap for ten players, and 6 of those are PF/C. Of their four total guards/wings, one of them is Kobe (who knows how he'll come back from injury) and one of them is Nash (done). I assume that they're going to find a way to grab two players on the cheap (Brooks again?) but they're only a gimpy Kobe away from their entire guard/wing rotation being Lin/Young/??/??.

If they play Boozer at PF, it's because they absolutely have to, and he's going to get abused. You think he's a bad post defender?

Yes, this is a fantastic idea. Look out for the 7akers next season. Theyre obviously going to do damage in the west.
