I'm with ya on everything you just said, with the exception of 'Kobe sucks'...you'd have to be blind to HONESTLY say something like that. He's one of the top 3 players in the WORLD, let alone the NBA, there's no denying that fact.

Arco got loud!! Evidently the rivalry lives on in the hearts of many Kings fans, as it does in mine.

I was disappointed that there were a lot of people leaving with when we were down with 33 sec to go... they really missed out!

I too just got home from the game. I had a really fantastic time. I haven't heard ARCO that loud in a long time (well, since the Monarchs won the WNBA Championship).

A public thank you is in order to hoopsie who took me to the game. She is a great sport.

its all good. I've been a Niner fan since before the hay days of Joe Montana. I was 4 yrs old, 1978. we were 4-12 the first year I started liking them. I started watching them when I saw Freddie Soloman play for the first time...he was Jerry Rice before Jerry Rice.(almost)
i grew up watching steve young ever since i was a baby. the very first jacket i got from my grandpa (who got me into the 49ers) was a gold 49ers jacket that i still have today.

Where have you been?
I dunno, clueless I guess...

Oh and by the way, Kobe does suck, he sucks the life and confidence out of all his teamates. Odom was a different player when Miami made that first playoff run, feel sorry for him... oh well at least Kobe got his 50... and we got our win!! :D

So awesome!

*Thomas, Bibby help Kings survive Bryant's 51 points*
Box Score | Kings Home | Lakers Home

SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Mistakes down the stretch by the Los Angeles Lakers gave the Sacramento Kings a chance. Mike Bibby, Brad Miller and Kenny Thomas took full advantage.

Bibby scored 23 of his 40 points in the fourth quarter and overtime, Miller forced the extra session with a rare 3-pointer and Thomas took over after regulation to finish with his first career triple-double as the Kings rallied for a 118-109 victory over the Lakers, who wasted a 51-point effort from Kobe Bryant.

Bibby was the star throughout for Sacramento, but Thomas shined in the extra session, scoring six straight points for the Kings to open a 113-107 lead and finding rookie Francisco Garcia for a 3-pointer and his 10th assist moments later.

Thomas had 16 points, 12 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists.

The efforts by Bibby and Thomas spoiled Bryant's 12th game with at least 40 points.

Los Angeles held a 102-96 lead with 35 seconds left in regulation after Bryant found Lamar Odom for a 3-pointer.

A foul led to Miller's free throw seconds later and Odom quickly turned the ball over, allowing Bibby to make a 3-pointer with 18 seconds to go to cut the Kings' deficit to 102-101.

Bryant was fouled five seconds later and hit both free throws to extend his franchise record of made foul shots to 48. Miller then was left alone with 4.1 seconds to go and buried a game-tying 3-pointer - just his 10th of the season - from the top of the key.

Odom's 3-pointer at the buzzer hit off the front of the rim as Bryant worked to get free on the wing.

No team scored in overtime until Bibby's 3-pointer with 3:36 left gave Sacramento the lead for good, 107-104, and Thomas scored underneath on three straight possessions as the Kings took control.

The Lakers finally collapsed on Thomas and he passed out to Garcia, who hit his third 3-pointer to make it 116-107 with 54 seconds to go.

Miller had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Peja Stojakovic returned from a three-game layoff with a sore back to collect 13 and 10 as Sacramento won its third straight for the first time in a month.

Bryant shot 17-of-35 from the floor but just 2-of-7 in overtime. Odom had 16 points, 10 rebounds and six assists before fouling out less than a minute into the extra session.

I was just watching NBA TV's top 10 daily pick and the Kings/Lakers game had 4 or 5 out of the top 10. I think Miller's 3 to tie the game was #2!!!:D

Even though practically everyone at work is one kind of diet or another, I'm going to bake some cupcakes and take em to work!!!! Way tooooo much energy going through me right now! :p

To quote Bruce Willis: "Yipee kiyaaaaa"..;) ..well you know the rest.

Yes it did.

The little plastic megaphones that they were giving out really came in handy. My boyfriend and I had to use them just to talk to each other.

No problem.
6th only had to defend me once...thanks 6th.:) BTW...what are you still doing up??

All I know is, that win was a beautiful, hard-fought thing! And listening to the noise in Arco drown out the commentators at times was AMAZING! THAT's the Arco crowd I'm used to hearing on the TV.

I don't like the games that come on TNT being so late because the next morning (i.e. today) I'm groggy and out-of-whack, but it's all worth it! :D
