Thanks Reina. I have always wondered about their travel to Oakland. The reason why GS may have bussed up to Sac is the same reason why the Cleveland Indians in the movie Major League took that lemon of a prop plane...bad organization or maybe it's because St. Jean was running the ship.

Really though, by the time you board a plane, fly on down to whichever airport, get off the plane, hop the team bus, then drive over to the arena, you could probably be over there just as quick if you just bussed directly.

My exact thoughts, but then flying assures that you won't hit traffic near Vacaville/Fairfield.

just got back from the game and WOW that was AWESOME!!!!!

i have *no* voice :D

miller was AWESOME!!!! and very well behaved. there were a few moments where he looked like he wanted to get T'ed up. bibby was AWESOME. my friend and i were *so* bummed he didn't get that triple double. we were keeping track of it on my phone, we wanted to kill... i think it was najera who tipped that rebound off bibby in the final seconds that lost the triple double.

we were also being the greg ostertag cheerleading team, so naturally we were bummed he didn't get more into the game, but the way brad was going, it was great to leave him out there.

barnes was flirting with a triple double, d-song was great. hahah i kept on going SHOOT!!!! and it seemed like everytime i said that he shot and made it.

there were *SO* many kings fans there. it was easily 50/50 kings fans to warriors fans, and it was 3/1 kings fans on the ride home. and us kings fans were ROCKING!!!!!!! we were down in the first half, looking sluggish, that 10-0 run in the third woke us up. there were defense chants in the 4th that were pretty loud, TONS of cheering, oh we were LOUD!!!! my voice is almost gone, i was SCREAMING!!!!!

as my first NBA game ( oh i kmnow how sad is that!!!) that was a great experience. i'll definelty be going to the st patricks day game at GS, and i'm really gonna try to get up to arco for a game.

WTG KINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was at the game too!!! The first 3 quarter was kind of dull. No sense of life whatsoever. Things turn in the middle of the third. I am so glad the game ends up with us winning. Last year all 3 GS games I attended (including preseason!) Kings lost.... Now I finally know what it feels to win in Oakland!!! HA HA!!!

Nice to hear a few of you went! I was watching the Warriors TV side and they only showed Kings fans in the seats! :D You would think it was at Arco but it wasn't. That kid that Foyle landed on was a Kings fan too. Hope that kid is Ok. Glad to hear that Kings fans had fun!

What a game by the starting 5.

Brad admitted after the game he was exausted. You could see that the guys tanks were almost completely dry. If that game went to double OT the Kings would have lost. I hope they got a ride home... having really exausted basketball players driving home cant be too safe.

CWebb could give some of them a ride. hehe...

Glad you had such a great game for your first game! I was listening on the radio on my drive home & you could tell there were tons of Kings fans there because it sounded almost as loud when the Kings scored as when the Warriors scored! Glad the guys had some fans in the crowd, they needed any extra energy they could get last night. They must be SOOO tired! And I agree with whoever said they couldn't have done it if it had to go to a 2nd overtime. They looked like they were running on fumes, and when it was tied in OT I was a little nervous. Don't think they had another 5 minutes in them.

I just read this whole thread and only have one comment:

Webber was on the sidelines, exorting his teammates to try their best. The fact he drove down himself, IMHO, merits some praise. He didn't have to do that. The other injured players weren't there. Webb, as captain and leader of the team, obviously wanted to be there. He was cheering, he was signalling to the Kings fans in the crowd to stand up and cheer, etc.

That is the sign of a leader. He may not have played but he was sure there to give whatever support he could to those who were on the court.

:D

i just found this on Justbball.com in the Warriors forum...someone said and i thought it was hilarious

Was anyone else at the game? Webber and the crowd have kind of a love-hate relationship going. We boo, he holds up a Kings jersey. We give him the timeout signal, he wipes his feet with a Warriors' towel. We ask him where his championship ring is . . . they win the game. I think he won.

The guy sitting behind me almost got arrested for trying to give him a dollar after JR missed the key freethrow.

man i wish i could have seen that

yeah i totally agree with you....you gotta love that

i do think us playing in his old old stomping grounds may have just a LITTLE bit to do with it...hehehe...;)

I read this on espn.com:

Game notes
Despite thousands of visiting Kings supporters, the Arena was 2,000 fans short of a sellout. ... Warriors C Adonal Foyle went crashing into the courtside seats in pursuit of a loose ball, breaking a female fan's necklace and landing on a kid wearing a Kings hat.

Still 2,000 seats left for Kings fans to fill. ;) Maybe I should go to the next game in Oakland when Kings are there. Tickets are way cheaper too.
