The Thunder aren’t actively trying to lose though. Not sure why this narrative keeps going when ya’ll clearly aren’t paying attention
A team actively trying to lose is a team that buys out its highest paid player (Kemba @ $26m per year), doesn’t have any current players making over $10m, has like 30 first round draft picks in the next few years, has the most salary cap space in the league, and had half its roster and head coach out due to Covid.

For perspective, strip away the age and the salaries, look at only their on the court play: Kemba > Fox right now. Averaging 23 pts, 7 rebs, 6 assts and shooting 40% from 3 in Dec.

Beating a bad team with half their roster out doesn’t do anything for me except make me worry that Vivek watched and said, “SEE THIS IS A PLAY-IN TEAM! BUY MONTE BUY!”
Yeah, it's just hard to get excited about any win anymore until we for once see any sort of consistently good play for more than 2 or 3 games in a row.
