In one week I went from wondering if the Kings could hold off Dallas for home court in first the round to eyeing that 2 seed.
Yeah surprised we didn’t see more Davion minutes to slow down SGAMurray sniped the Thunder out tonight. Good win....Thunder were playing well entering game. Defense atrocious on Alexander including help defense.
And it didn't work

Domas looks like a proud Dad whenever Keegan scores.
issue they're gonna come upon now though is their lack of open roster spaces for those picks and some of their earlier picks coming up for extensions after they've already given SGA and Dort huge extensions. Giddey and Poku are gonna ask for extensions this summer and they might not be able to keep both at this point.

Kings schedule is about to get a notch tougher.....every win is necessary for Playoff push.
It is so great that he is getting his NBA education on a winning team instead of jacking a gazillion shots a game aka Ivey or Banchero in meaningless gamesAlright guys it looks like Keegan is good at basketball
We can always look back on the predictionsThat 2 seed is a long way away. But if before the season you had told me we had a shot to host Game 1 of a playoff series, I'd have...said you were crazy.

Kings did quite well on not letting SGA score on layups, which he does very consistently on other teams. He made some really tough shots with a defender right in his face(he does that consistently as well). For example he dropped the same 37 on Sixers and Biid is considered one of the best rim protectors in the league. The dude is just that goodThey let him get whatever he wanted all over the paint.....this isn't new though.....this team's defense sucks. Sabonis is a great player and all star but is a poor shot-blocker - not even above average like his Dad.
We had one that was supposed to be a leader and one that wants to be a leader ahead of him so he didn't need to be a vocal leader. No matter how you look at it, the Hali trade doesn't happen without Domas. Not sure including Turner plus picks would've gotten it. I don't think rim protection played into the trade as much as Sac not wanting Turner. Not to mention Domas's wife wanting to be in Cali, so Domas may have requested a west coast trade
Nah its about the previous years before that when we could have traded Turner and built the team around Domas. KP never wanted to part with Turner because rim protection was more important than running a modern offense. When you see how the Kings have taken the reigns off Sabonis, it really makes the Pacers look like one of the most inept franchises. Now of course it helps that the Kings brought in alot of good players this season too. But it starts with Domas.
He showed the ability to do this during the Bjorkgren year, but we had crap players around him.
It makes Rick look stupid for taking the ball out of Sabonis' hands last season and dropping his usage rate.
Hell we could have hired Mike Brown at any time over the past several years too.
Why in the world would you go zone against these shooters? Lol!
