If Davion was younger I'd say he was going to develop a better sense of when to launch and when there's time to pass in that end-of-clock situation, but man...he should have that one down by now.
Indeed. In general, his vision and feel for the game offensively as a point guard do not inspire.

Could have been worse but this help defense has to go bye bye in the 2nd half. It's bad enough against most teams but if a team full of players that can run point break into the paint you're done anyway. They have practically 3 legit triple threat players out there at all times. I'd force players like Giddey and Williams to put up 30 at the rim before letting them triple threat you to death. Pressure their dribble and force them inside to the rim. That's the best option if OKC keeps hitting their 3's.

Thunder aren’t working at all. There’s a reason every team lights us up from deep. Every team has a good shootaround
This seems to be one of those things where our eyes are lying to us: Kings are tied for second in fewest made threes allowed per game, and dead in the middle of the road (15th) in 3pt percentage allowed per game. It just feels like all y'all do is give up threes.

Malik forgetting how to shoot but turning into an elite dribble drive creator is not something I saw happening when we signed him
He shot 40% from 3 in Charlotte 2 years ago and 39% in LA last year. His current 32% halfway thru the season is a pretty major dive.

But, dag, I'm even more surprised by the creation skills - and in a good way.

Yeah. I think at some point he’s going to have a hot streak that puts him back up closer to those numbers but until then the creation skills are keeping him on the floor

Would like to see Sabonis be more aggressive in the inside in the 2nd half.. Who is jaylen williams anyways? Don't think he can stop Sabonis. They will have to double him and we'll have other opportunities from there on

He is in the midst of a major slump. He almost broke out of it against Houston...but then got ejected. The coaching staff needs to find a way to reinstill his confidence. Starting Terence Davis, who is not usually in the rotation, over Malik was a blunder, as I have said before.

Fox got fouled. Falls down. I feel very grumpy old man, but I *hate* that players feel they need to flop to sell the foul even when they WERE fouled.

The Kings were having success when forcing them deep into the basket area, now they are back to dropping of the pick and roll and allowing the big to sneak into the middle. Just dumb.
