This team needs a point guard.

I've been calling for Tyreke Evans there, because I think he is the best option.

The truth is, Isaiah isn't very good. Brooks isn't any better. And Jimmer isn't what I would call a 'point guard'. This will be a need we will have to fill at some point.

I just don't understand how Smart thinks players can be motivated when you call them leaders of the team, starters, key guys, then rest them for 10 minutes of the second quarter. I mean as a player when I'm finally inserted I'd be ****ing pissed off.
 
That was a terrible end of quarter play by Smart who's right there calling for it, then terrible execution by MT, not only on the shot but taking it early.
 
Never understood the point of guys going one on one to close quarters. If it is the best way to score, then they would do that every time.
Pretty sure Thornton iso at halfcourt is not a high percentage play.
 
Either Tyreke didn't want the ball or Smart waved him off on that Thornton iso at the end. Either way Smart makes watching these game head throbbing. An absolute joke of a coach

This statement holds true. When you think about it you realize that smart DOES have a plan and he DOES follow it. Every few minutes he comes up with a new plan and he follows that plan until he comes up with another one :p

hey we should start a countdown. because we know that either way at the end of this year hes gone. the new owners, whether it be the Seattle group or a KJ group, are gonna can his *** right away
 
Just compare the assists/to's of these teams at halftime. No King has more than 1 assist. This stat alone defines this team.

Well yes and no. People forget that OKC was 2nd to last in the NBA in assists last year. But iwth us the stat is more indicative.
 
What position did Smart play in college? I can't believe the absolutely horrible number of assists. Maybe the rest of you enjoy bitching but I've about had it for the night. See ya.

Durant 20mins
Westbrook 19.5mins

Cousins 19mins
Tyreke 14mins.

So we're using Reke's good defense on Sefolosha, while putting IT on WB?

It makes no sense to put your better defender on the far worse offensive player.
